How to install a CS GO map if the archive contains only .nav and / or .bsp files? You need to put them in the \ maps folder.
First, let's download the map for CS: GO!
Provided that you installed the game by default, the path to your \ maps folder is like this:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps
- If the archive contains gamemods.txt, then before replacing it, copy your old one to a safe place to return the old settings, in case the game crashes or you don't like textures
- If the archive contains a csgo or Counter-Strike Global Offensive folder with files, you need to replace your csgo or Counter-Strike Global Offensive folder with a new one.
First copy your old folder to a safe place. This way you can revert to the old settings if the new maps change something and you don't like it.
If, after installing a map for CS GO, it is not in the game menu, then you need to enter the "map name of the map" in the console.
Example:
map de_no_mercy_b2Â
