New parts for more power and tuning options
First of all, you can only tune your cart when you are in your player house . But then Forza Horizon 5 gives you different ways to start.
We recommend that you save a little credits first. In other words, drive a few races, win coal and then first look around for fresh parts for your speedster in the menu item “Individual upgrade” .
You can find everything in the upgrade shop: from brake pads to spoilers to suspension and Co. If you select a part there, you can see directly how the rating of your car changes with the new part. More importantly however, it is here that certain installations and tuning options in Forza Horizon 5 unlock .
We therefore advise you to first browse the upgrade shop to see which parts make sense and which you can afford. Because if you really want to let off steam, you also have to make sure that the more exciting values can be changed and not just tire pressure or the like.

But if you want to go deeper and optimize every speedster exactly to your needs, you ca n't avoid individual tuning.
In this menu, Forza Horizon 5 gives you the freedom to choose which values of your car you want to adjust and how - as mentioned above, partly provided you have installed the appropriate upgrades.
Forza Horizon 5 gives you a brief explanatory text for every setting that you can make, such as what settings affect the track or the camber. You don't have to be completely naive if you don't know your way around.
Still, here are a few basic tips for the individual categories:
tires
We recommend that you leave the tire pressure more or less at the standard setting. However, a slightly higher tire pressure on the front wheels means that the driving experience in Forza Horizon 5 feels a little more direct.
translation
If you dare to use the settings for the translation in Forza Horizon 5, you will influence the individual gears of your speedster. Here we recommend that you move the controls for the first two gears to the left, which means that these two gears are driven through “more slowly”, which increases traction .
Alignment
The camber should typically remain in the negative area, because then the grip in corners is higher and understeer is reduced. We therefore recommend that you set the camber values in Forza Horizon 5 between -1.5 and -1.8 and from there to experiment how your speedster drives best for you.
With the settings of the track in Forza Horizon 5 you can influence your car so that it feels a bit more direct in driving behavior . Here, too, we recommend values as a starting point for experiments, namely 0.1 ° or 0.2 ° in the front and -0.1 ° in the back.
Last but not least, the front caster. Depending on how you set it, you can play around with the camber even more . But a value from 6 to 7 is suitable here.
Stabilizers
If you set the stabilizers softer, you have to be prepared in Forza Horizon 5 that your car steers more spongy in curves . Overall, however, it is advisable to choose a somewhat softer setting at the front and a somewhat harder one at the rear.
feathers
For the springs, a softer setting at the front causes oversteer, while softer springs at the rear cause understeer. Our recommendation here, however, is only to adjust the settings for the front springs a little softer.
When it comes to the landing gear height, settings are hardly necessary in Forza Horizon 5. However, the standard value is set very carefully with almost all speedsters, so that you can confidently turn it down a little if you like.

In Forza Horizon 5 you will find two values in the damping sub-item, namely rebound stiffness and compression stiffness. We recommend that you leave both of these on the default settings if you do not want to get into absolute professional tuning, because here you will quickly find yourself in strong oversteer or understeer.
aerodynamics
In the area of aerodynamics you can only change the downforce in Forza Horizon 5. In general, it is advisable to move the slider a little to the right here, both at the front and at the back . However, both have strong effects on driving behavior, so you should definitely test the settings before you venture into the next race.
brake
Here Forza Horizon 5 offers you settings for the braking force, on the one hand the distribution and on the other hand the pressure. We recommend that you leave the pressure at 100 percent and, in most cases, set the distribution to be more front-heavy.
differential
In this menu of Forza Horizon 5 you can change the acceleration and the deceleration. The following applies: A higher acceleration ensures that your car tends to oversteer , while deceleration tends to lead to understeer . Here you have to experiment which settings work best for your driving experience.
