Unlike the previous part of the game, in Forza Horizon 5 you can sell any cars to earn extra credits. In this guide, we will show you how to sell and purchase used cars in the game.

How to Buy and Sell Used Forza Horizon 5 Cars

In addition to purchasing new cars, in Forza Horizon 5 you can buy and sell used cars in a special section "Auction Hall". This section is not new to the series, but still, it was absent in the previous part of the game.

In order to list used cars for sale, you first need to purchase any home. We've covered how to buy houses in Forza Horizon 5 in this guide . If you already own one or more houses, get to any of them, enter the house and go to the "Buy & Sell" tab on the main screen. Select "Auction Hall" and click "Start Auction" , then select any available vehicle. In the dialog menu, find "Put up for auction" and select your preferred price in credits.

There are two prices available for editing in the auction creation window:

• Starting Price: Indicates the starting price of the auction. The bet step is determined automatically.
• Redemption price: the price of the car to be redeemed without participating in the auction. If the player wants to purchase your vehicle, but does not intend to wait for the end of the auction, he can do so by paying the ransom price.

It is best to sell at auction used cars of high rarity. The fastest to go under the hammer are “rare”, “legendary” cars and cars with the signature “Forza Edition”. Getting rid of regular cars at auction will be more difficult, but still possible.

If you would like to buy a used car from another player, please select the "Search for auctions" option in the "Auction room" section. Here you can use the search filter based on various criteria such as make, car model, performance class, maximum and minimum car prices.

When you find your preferred car, you can place a bid and wait for the end of the auction, or buy this car for a fixed price. Be sure to pay attention to the remaining time of the auction, as during this time your bid may be outbid by another player and at the end of the auction the car will go to this user.

You can track your bids and open auctions in the "Auction Hall" section. Here you will see special sections "My bids" and "My auctions". Use them to outbid the bid on a particular lot in time, as well as to change the value of any of your auctions. You can also track auction alerts about outbid bids and autos sold at auction.
