Jurassic World Evolution 2 Power grid and emergency generators

At the beginning of Jurassic World Evolution 2 you are only dependent on emergency generators. We help you to build a power plant and ensure a sustainable power supply.

Researches improved power technology

Once you've built a science center, you should research the Improved Electricity Technology. This will give you access to the small power plant . This continuously produces electricity and, in contrast to the emergency generators, does not have to be refilled at great expense.

Place substations

The small power plant only has a short range. To supply more distant buildings and fences with electricity, you need a substation . The principle is the same as with the emergency generator, so all surrounding buildings are supplied with electricity. The only requirement for this is that the substation is connected to the power plant by a mast .

So place the substations near your enclosures, attractions and facilities in order to build up a nationwide power grid,

Don't forget the emergency generators

Every now and then your park is ravaged by sandstorms, tornadoes or other natural disasters. This can interrupt your power supply and, in the worst case, the dinosaurs break out of their enclosures. In this case, emergency generators take over and prevent the worst from happening. As a rule of thumb, an emergency generator should be located near a substation so that both buildings cover the same area.

Facilities such as your visitor center, hotels or restaurants do not necessarily have to be covered by emergency generators. Instead, concentrate on the dinosaur enclosures for maximum safety.
