Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Unlock secret gift and redeem passwords

 In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, there is, as is usual in modern Pokémon games, the secret gift function. With it you can receive gifts directly from the developers or receive gifts with codes. In this guide, we'll tell you how to unlock the secret gift option, how to redeem codes and which passwords are available.

This is how you get the secret gift function

Since you will be rewarded with codes as early buyers, you are wondering how to redeem the codes, as the secret gift function is not available at the beginning of the game. But don't worry, you will automatically unlock the secret gift and you won't be able to miss it. As soon as you have won the third order in Schleiede , the option appears in your menu.

Which secret gifts you can receive via the Internet

If you have finally activated the secret gift function, there are two ways to receive gifts. The first option is “Receive on the Internet”. All you have to do here is connect to the Internet and then select gifts that are currently being made available by the developers. A "Nintendo Switch Online" membership is not required.

You can pick up the following gifts until February 21, 2021 :

• An egg from which the Mysterious Pokémon Manaphy hatches.
• An outfit based on Pokémon Platinum.

Redeem codes and all passwords

With the second option in the menu "Receive via serial code / password" you can finally enter codes that have been published by the developers or that you have received directly.

The following codes are currently available :

• If you buy an edition in the eShop by February 21, 2021, you will receive a code for 12 Flottballs.
• If you buy the "Diamond & Pearl" double pack by February 21, 2021, you will receive two codes for 100 Poké Balls.

Since the developers have regularly published codes in the past, you can assume that there will be more passwords for Diamant and Perle in the future. We will add these to our article as soon as new codes appear.
