So this decision is very similar to the dialog in Sandgemme when it comes to your starter Pokémon . Lucia / Lucius says that if you had chosen Pokémon "X", you would now have the same Pokémon. However, she / he always says that. No matter which monster you choose, you can have the same Pokémon.
What do combat investigators and item radar bring?
The combat investigator is a basic item that shows you trainers in the vicinity who you have already defeated and who want to take revenge. It's useful to register the item so that you don't always have to go to the inventory when looking for challengers. Unlike in the original games, the investigator doesn't have to charge himself, you can always use him.

The Itemradar is a Pokétch app that you open with the R key. The Item Radar is one of the most useful apps as it shows you the hidden items in the vicinity. However, you always have to zoom in and click on the radar with the pointer to get a signal. Unfortunately, this is a bit cumbersome.
