Riders Republic: All tricks at a glance

In the tips guide Riders Republic , we explain:

  • How you perform each trick
  • How the control layouts differ
  • What is the difference between automatic and manual landing

in Riders Republic There are two major types of events : races and tricks. The races are all about reaction speed, whereas the Tricks events require you to know exactly which tricks you are performing and how. In this guide we explain the basics and give you a list of all the tricks in the game.

Rider or Trickster: Which controls are best?

When you start Riders Republic for the first time, you will be asked which control layout you want to use. You have the choice between the rider control and the trickster control. As the name suggests, the rider controls are designed for races and the trickster controls for trick events.

In the Rider Ridge you can compete with other players in a trick battle.

How is the control different? With the rider control you perform your tricks with the buttons on your controller. With the left analog stick you can move the camera, which gives you the advantage of keeping an overview in the air or in front of sharp bends.

The Trickster control deactivates the camera control and lets you perform your tricks with the left analog stick. This gives you the advantage of having absolute control over your tricks and performing them much faster.

Automatic or manual landing?

In addition to the control layout, you can set in the menu whether you land automatically or manually after a trick. The automatic landing is particularly recommended for beginners and stops the air turns by itself before you hit the ground. The disadvantage here is that you are very limited in your trick time.

If you manage to land a perfect landing, you'll get big bonus points!

With manual landing you have the advantage of having full control over the turns of the air. This is the only way you have the opportunity to crack the high score. So you can determine exactly how many tricks you do before you hit the ground. Of course, there is also a higher risk of not completing a trick in time and falling as a result. A perfect landing is otherwise still a fat bonus on your points.
