New World is a multiplayer role-playing game from Amazon. At a certain stage, each player has the opportunity to acquire his own home. In this guide, we'll show you how to do this and what benefits you will get from your own home.

How to buy a house in New World

The player can purchase from one to three houses in the New World. To make a purchase, simply go to any building that is available for purchase and select Purchase house from the pop-up menu. 

To purchase the first house, you must have a character level 15 and reputation level 10 in the current territory. To buy a second house, you need a character level 35 and a reputation level 15, and for a third - a character level 55 and reputation level 20. In addition, you need gold. The amount depends on the set prices and the type of house. Note that there is a 50% discount on the purchase of the first building.

Different players can purchase the same houses, but they will look different depending on the decorative items - furniture and trophies.

The house will remain in your ownership, regardless of which faction belongs to the territory in which it is located. It cannot be destroyed during sieges or battles. It is recommended to purchase houses in different parts of the map in order to quickly move around the open world of the game.

The only condition for using a house is the need to pay tax. It is set by the head of the settlement, and it directly depends on the initial cost of the building. If you stop paying for it, you will lose all the benefits that your property gives, including teleport and bonuses from installed trophies. But at the same time, you will still remain the owner of your home.

 

Note that if the building is located in the territory that belongs to your faction, then the tax will be reduced by 30%. 

Moreover, you can abandon your home at any time. A similar need may arise if you decide to buy another building that is larger in size or is simply located in a more convenient place for you. The money for the old house will not be returned to you, but all the decor and trophies that are placed in it will automatically move to your storage.

Why do you need a house in New World

Your own house provides a number of bonuses and special features for your hero:

• New point for teleportation . You can move to your home from anywhere in the game world.
  
• Possibility to supply furniture and trophies . The latter give certain bonuses. You cannot install two identical trophies in the same house. But at the same time, you can put the same trophies in different houses. Thus, you can significantly increase the characteristic you need.
  
• Installation of additional chests . They expand the size of the warehouse in the city where your house is located. They can be bought at the auction or crafted. We've discussed more about chests below.
  
• Possibility to bring home animals.
  
• The ability to invite up to 4 other players. 

Chairs, tables and beds are purchased in stores or made by yourself. Trophies can also be made if you have certain resources. You will find recipes for them in the open world of the game. They give bonuses to various parameters, for example, an increase in damage to specific creatures or an increase in luck while collecting resources. This effect applies to the entire open world of the game.

The number of trophies that can be in one house is strictly limited.

How the storage chest works in New World

In the workshop, you can craft a hewn log storage chest or an iron storage chest. If desired, it can be purchased at the auction.

The chest must be placed in your own home. To do this, go to the building that belongs to you, press the B key, select the desired chest and indicate the place where you plan to put it. It grants access to your warehouse in that city and expands the size of your available storage.

If the settlement in which the house is located belongs to the territory of your faction, then you will get access to the warehouses of all cities that belong to it.

House types in New World

In total, there are 4 types (shooting ranges) of houses in New World that you can own:

• 1st tier . Teleport cooldown: 4 hours. Number of furniture points: 100 units. Maximum number of trophies: 5 pieces. This house can accommodate 1 chest for storing items, 4 lamps and 5 pets. The base cost of the house is 5000 coins. Base weekly tax is 250 coins.
  
• 2nd tier . Teleport cooldown: 3 hours. Number of furniture points: 125 units. Maximum number of trophies: 5 pieces. This building can accommodate 2 chests for storing items, 6 lamps and 6 pets. The base value of the house is 10,000 coins. Base weekly tax is 500 coins.
  
• 3rd tier . Teleport cooldown: 2.5 hours. Number of furniture points: 150 units. Maximum number of trophies: 5 pieces. In such a house, you can put 3 chests for storing items, 8 lamps and have 7 pets. The base value of the house is 15,000 coins. Base weekly tax is 750 coins.
  
• 4th tier . Teleport cooldown: 2 hours. Number of furniture points: 200 units. Maximum number of trophies: 5 pieces. This building can accommodate 4 chests for storing items, 10 lamps and 8 pets. The base value of the house is 20,000 coins. Base weekly tax is 1000 coins.
  

House value and weekly tax may vary depending on the city and the faction that controls its territory. If the building is located on the territory of your faction, you will receive the maximum discount.
