Where to find and how to get Azoth in New World. Where to get the Azoth staff and how to indirectly increase your Azoth storage limit

Where to find and how to get Azoth in New World.

Azoth is the most valuable resource in the New World . Although at the beginning of the passage you will not feel a deficit, very soon the question will arise - where to find the mysterious blue substance. In the guide, we will tell you in detail about everything that is known about Azoth, as well as what a Azoth staff is, and why it is needed.

What is Azoth. Why is it needed

Azoth has a dual function - a currency and a resource. However, it cannot be sold or stored in conventional ways. As soon as a mysterious substance gets to you, it is deposited in a special pocket, from which it is impossible to get it - just spend it. At the same time, the game sets a strict limit on how much Azoth one player can carry with him - 1000 units.

Azoth is required in several cases:

  • Fast travel;
  • Reset talents;
  • Craft.

Teleports can save you tons of time, but they come with a price tag. The further you want to travel, the more Azoth will have to be spent. Therefore, it is worth thinking several times before choosing just such a travel option.

Resetting talents will allow you to change the wrong choice. Up to the tenth level, this can be done for free, but after that, a commission in the form of Azoth will appear.

During crafting, you can add some Azoth to create a higher quality item with special properties. Also, the substance is needed to "re-craft" faction gear (Faction Gear).

How to get Azoth

The first way is to get Azoth at the beginning of the game, just complete the main tasks. You will earn up to 500 units, but the higher the character level, the less Azoth in the reward - from 15 to 20 units. You cannot get Azoth from the Town Project for completing faction quests and daily quests.

The second way is to defeat enemies. On average, every 20 monsters will drop a little Azoth. If you want to increase the number of rewards - kill mini-bosses and opponents with a bluish glow.

The third way is with special tools. Almost every tool can have a special property, such as a chance to get Azoth. Thus, by doing your routine, you will accumulate a valuable resource.

The fourth way is to close the rifts and corrupted portals. Having received the Azoth staff, you will be able to close the gaps that appear on the map at random. This is the most profitable and easiest way, however you will have to survive difficult battles, so do not try to close the rifts alone. Faults are classified according to their complexity:

  • Corrupted Monolith - it is necessary to destroy the protective membranes in the center of the corrupted monolith (can be normal and elite);
  • Corrupted Portal - you need to defeat several waves of corrupted monsters and the final boss (can be normal and elite);
  • Corrupted Tentacle - you need to destroy the corrupted tentacle and use the Azoth staff (can only be normal);
  • Rotting Hive (Festering Hive) - you need to get inside the hive and destroy the corrupted boss (can only be normal).
The fifth way is to participate in sieges and PvP battles. This option is only suitable for high-level players. But Azoth can be obtained even in case of loss.

How to get the Azoth staff

The Azoth Staff is a story item. By completing quests, sooner or later you will receive this artifact. The branch associated with the staff includes 20 tasks and begins with the quest "The old man at the river". You will have to move around the world a lot, but it's worth it, since in addition to closing the rifts, the staff opens access to the dungeon, which means to high-level rewards.

How to store Azoth and increase the limit indirectly

As you already know, Azoth cannot be stored in the usual way. However, there is a trick. During battles or completing missions, you will receive vial of suspended azoth. They contain several units of a valuable resource. The secret is that closed jars just lie in the inventory, which means they can be sold, put in a chest, or bought at an auction. Save as many of these cans for future use and avoid shortages.
