AMD FSR: Compatible Games

Get more FPS in your games with AMD FSR

Recently AMD has launched an image scaling technology called AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution or FSR , similar to the older NVIDIA DLSS. It is part of their FidelityFX 3D and Gaming Effects package and consists of scaling images from a lower resolution to obtain higher resolution images and gain FPS. Despite being a technology that is short on time, there are several games that are compatible with AMD FSR. We are going to leave you a list of all the games compatible with AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution .


AMD FSR serves the same purpose as NVIDIA DLSS and the recently introduced Intel XeSS , scaling images from a lower resolution using algorithms to provide higher resolution with less GPU workload and thus offer better FPS rate.


AMD FSR technology is based on the Lanczos algorithm , but has been tweaked and modified to improve the bottom line . AMD FSR is OpenSource and everyone has access to the APIs for this technology. Even the community has implemented its own patches on games that do not officially support FSR .


The operation consists of obtaining, by means of this improved algorithm, images with a higher resolution than the original and comparing them with larger samples to correct errors and show the highest possible quality. As in DLSS, there are 4 modes to operate AMD FSR, Ultra Quality Mode, Quality Mode, Balanced Mode, and Performance Mode .


But, to make use of this technology, games have to implement AMD FSR . You can find it in the graphics menu of compatible games. Don't worry, we are going to show you a list of all the games that include AMD FSR.

Although it has not been available for that long with NVIDIA DLSS, from the beginning we have worked with studios so that their games can get AMD FSR . The simplicity with which a game can be adapted to be AMD FSR compatible has also played a role. Thanks to this, more and more developers choose to introduce this technology in their games. As we can see, many developers have chosen to include AMD FSR in their games . It is a technology that does not ask for anything in exchange for having a higher FPS rate in your games. Unlike DLSS, AMD FSR technology does not require specific hardware to function. This is why, although it is optimized for AMD Radeon 5000 and 6000 series cards, it can work on older cards up to AMD Radeon RX 400 series and even on cards with NVIDIA GPUs .
