Activision has made the Call of Duty: Warzone servers unavailable while Season 1 launches. The game cannot be played at this time.

The launch of Season 1 of Call of Duty: Vanguard is also a big moment for Call of Duty: Warzone . Indeed the Battle Royale will leave Verdansk and join Caldera, a new map in the Pacific. However, to make such a change the game will be unavailable for a few hours.


Warzone's servers will be unavailable on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. During this period players will not be able to play the game, however Vanguard's multiplayer will remain accessible.


Why can't we connect to Warzone?

Players will not be able to play Warzone on Wednesday, December 8. This is due to the deployment of Caldera, the new map in the Pacific Update. Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer will nevertheless remain accessible.



At the end of this maintenance, players who own Vanguard will be able to launch into Season 1 and play on the new Battle Royale map. Warzone players will only be able to access Rebirth Island until the next day.


On Thursday, December 9. All players will have access to Caldera as well as Vanguard's new weapons on Warzone. The new card will be available on all platforms namely PlayStation (PS4 / PS5), Xbox (One and Series X / S) as well as on PC.
