MultiVersus is now available worldwide and, as usual in most free to play games of this type, the WB Games title has cross-play functions and also account linking to continue the progress of our account no matter what platform we are playing from.

How to activate or deactivate crossplay?
Cross-platform crossplay in MultiVersus is enabled by default for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam), so you should already have it enabled on your account without doing anything.
In any case, if you want to check if crossplay is enabled, or if you would like to disable it for any reason, follow these steps :
- From the main menu of the game access the cogwheel in the lower left corner of the screen.
- In this section enter the Online / Legal section.
- Now look for the section titled Cross-Platform Matchmaking.
- Open the dropdown for this option.
- Decide if you want to leave this option On or Off.
Remember that it is recommended to have the crossplay function activated to improve the matchmaking of the games. Disabling crossplay can result in inconvenience when searching for games or playing with your friends. Without crossplay, you will only be able to play with other players who are on the same platform as you (and who have also disabled this feature), so matchmaking load times may be quite long.
How to link your MultiVersus account between platforms?
MultiVersus, apart from cross-play, also offers the possibility of sharing our progress between platforms through cross-save (or cross-progress), but only as long as we use the same WB Games account when playing.
In other words, the following details must be taken into account :
- In order to play on any platform without losing your account progress, you must use the same WB Games account.
- The first time you log in to MultiVersus on a new platform, you should automatically see a popup prompting you to log in with your WB Games account credentials.
- If you don't have a WB Games account yet and it's your first time playing MultiVersus, then create a new one from this website.
- The platform you first complete this process with becomes your primary profile used for cross-platform progress.
