A Plague Tale: Requiem is a continuation of the popular stealth action game about the brave girl Amicia and her brother Hugo. After the events of the original game, Hugo began to gradually recover, but circumstances force his "illness" to progress. To once again save her brother, Amicia will have to face hordes of rats, cruel mercenaries, and murderers. In this guide, we will describe a detailed walkthrough of the game, as well as tell you how to find all the memories and flowers for Hugo's herbarium.
Chapter 1: Under a Different Sun
This chapter is a tutorial of sorts. Follow Hugo and Luka, and follow simple steps. When you find yourself in a private area, the game will offer you to learn stealth, distracting enemies, and other mechanics. Just use the hints on the screen to get out of someone else's territory.
After the scene with Hugo, the heroes will stumble upon a patrol. Hide in tall grass and use rocks to distract your enemies. You can also kill them with a sling. It is worth noting that at this stage of the passage, Amicia's weapons make too much noise, thereby quickly attracting the attention of enemies.
You won't be able to run to the exit either. If you try to do this, Amicia will come back on her own.
We recommend hiding in the grass and killing enemies one by one. This is the easiest way to get to your brother and mother. Having done this, try to release the stone at the bandit's head as quickly as possible in order to save the mother.
Chapter 2: Strangers. How to find the "Best Player" memory
After the cutscene on the engine, follow the path until you reach the fair. Walk through the bazaar and after talking with the flower girl, turn right. At the end of the street, you will see a large table with four pots. Agree to take part in the game and knock down as many cubes as you can. This will give you the (1) "Best Player" memory.
Keep going to the new house and watch the cut scene, after which the task will be updated.
Find a flower girl
Return to the bazaar and chat with the flower girl again. The woman will refer you to her husband. He is at the side entrance. You will see a man in brown clothes here, who is cleaning up fallen leaves.
Go down to the arena and turn right. Climb up the stairs, and enter the door.
Follow the symbols of the Order
Find the cart and move it to a place where you can climb up.
Watch the scene with the mercenary. Crouch down and go around him from behind. You will also see one enemy in the courtyard. Distract him by throwing a rock at the weapon box. In the building, you can also distract the mercenary in a similar way.
Once outside, approach the hanging cage and shoot the iron ring with your sling. Move the cell to the place marked on the screenshot.
Upstairs you will find a knife for the first time. With the help of such consumables, you can kill enemies in close combat. To do this, use a parry, and while the enemy is stunned, press the "E" key.
Soon you will again find yourself in an open area. In addition to the usual mercenaries, an archer will also be patrolling here. Getting rid of him is quite simple: go up the stone stairs on the left side, distract the guard nearby and shoot at the archer with a sling.
After some time, the corpse will be discovered, and the guards will raise the alarm. In this regard, a nearby guard will patrol right next to the exit door. Wait for him to turn away, then run up to the door and press the interact button.
How to Find the "Rest in Peace" Memory
Walk forward and go up to the second floor by the stairs on the right. In the far corner of the room, you will find a dying woman. Talk to her, after which the memory (2) "Rest in Peace" will become available.
How to get to the south tower and get rid of the rats
Get out of the building and watch the video. Once it's over, you'll need to run away from the oncoming swarm of rats. To do this, hold down the acceleration button (on the PC, the "Shift" key ).
Escape from the arena dungeons
Grab the torch and move to the next checkpoint. Put the torch on the stand and climb over the wall. Here the torch will not be available, but you can use regular sticks. They only burn for a few seconds. You need to have time to get to a large outdoor torch and light it. Repeat the steps several times.
You will see another hanging torch. Light a stick and throw it at him. Then fire your sling at the ring to make it fall to the ground.
Walk forward. Luka will fall down, and you will have to help him out. Set fire to the brushwood and throw it into the torch opposite. After that, pass the stick to Luka in the same way.
Lower the center platform
Examine the remains of the elephant and go up the stairs to the lever. Wait for Luka to complete the monologue, then interact with the device. The bars on the right and left will open, but rats will also appear in the hall.
First, run into the room on the right. Next to the wall, you will see the carcass of an animal. Shoot the sling at the ring to make the carcass fall and distract the rats.
Walk along a small ledge and knock down the second carcass in the opposite corner of the room. So you can get to the chest and get the necessary components.
Now follow the room on the left. Climb the stairs and order Luka to interact with the lever. To do this, hold down the "Alt" button, point the cursor at the lever, and press "E".
Grab the cart and drag it to the platform. Order Luka to lower the elevator. So you get to the second chest and get sulfur. Open inventory and craft incendiary sling projectiles. Select them from the menu, then throw a projectile at the torch on the central platform.
Examine two more rooms, which are full of rats. If you went to the left, then here you have to use a Molotov cocktail. Throw it near the stairs and go upstairs. Order Luka to activate the lever.
The second room will also lack light sources. Inspect several boxes, create incendiary mixtures and drive the rats away. In the far right corner of the room, you will see the carcass of an animal. Use it to distract rodents.
Climb up the stairs and activate the second lever. The platform will lower and you can continue on your way.
How to find Syngonium for Hugo's herbarium
There is a small supply chest on the right side of the street. Another box is on the top floor (you can use the stairs to get here). When you're ready, approach the narrow passage and get out.
How to get past the mercenaries or deal with them
In this level, you will be confronted by several helmeted enemies, as well as regular opponents. Unprotected opponents can be easily killed with a sling, with armored mercenaries you will have to act differently. Since you should have left one knife in your inventory, use it in close combat and kill the warrior in the helmet. This will be enough.
After that, enter the building on the right and get rid of the archer who is standing on the balcony. He will not let you safely cross a flock of rats.
When you do this, set fire to the brushwood and follow the same place where the enemy was standing. You can inspect several boxes of supplies. After that, light the two-floor torches next to the exit and get over to the opposite wall. Here you will find a stick with which you can go to the door.
How to solve the puzzle in Woden's tower

Chapter 3: Burden of Blood
Follow Luke all the time until you reach a dead end. The transition to the next quarter is closed by guards. Wait for a friend to find a passage and run after him. Examine the two chests, move the cart, and then use the Molotov cocktail to run past the rats.
Distract rodents with animal carcasses. First, you need to extinguish the torch nearby. To do this, shoot at the bag of saltpeter. Here you will find a cart with a saltpeter. Move it to the next room and place it next to the floor torch. Shoot at it and knock down the carcass of the animal.
Climb up the stairs. In addition to a chest with supplies in a small room, you can find a knife.
On the street, a guard will notice you. Try to attack him with your sling as quickly as possible. If you don't make it in time, then on the hard difficulty he will kill Amicia with the first hit.
Listen to your companion. He will give you some saltpeter and unlock a new recipe. With it, you can now extinguish enemy torches, thereby allowing the rats to get to enemies.
Follow the road ahead, getting rid of opponents. When you get to the stairs, get the guard's attention to come down, then put out his torch. Two more patrolmen will come out of the tower. Perform the same trick with them and climb the wall. Use the lever to raise the gate and escape the city.
Get to the herbalist's forest
Enter the only building and collect resources on the crates next to the stairs. Here you will see the workbench for the first time. With it, you can purchase upgrades for Amicia's sling and inventory.
Go down to the basement and leave the house through the door. In the next building, an enemy with a spear will be waiting for you. Kill him and get out.
To quickly pass this level, it is enough to use saltpeter. While the guards are scattered around the map, put out the torch of the first enemy. He will die, and the rest will come to look at his corpse. Repeat the steps three times. So you get rid of almost all opponents in a few minutes.
Examine the building on the right and search all the chests. When you get close to the exit, a herbalist will appear, accompanied by two guards.
Amicia will offer to save the man, but this is impossible according to the plot. Whatever you do, the enemy will be stunned or killed, and the herbalist will be eaten by rats. To get to the exit, take the stick under the wooden canopy on the left. You can also use a Molotov cocktail.
Once next to the herbalist's hut, inspect all the plants and the flower girl's corpse. Enter the house to activate a cutscene. After a while, Luca will be captured and you will have to rescue him.
How to save Luka and kill the guards
Follow to the far left side of the location. Wait for the helmeted guard to move away and get rid of the two enemies. Their screams can be met by another ordinary enemy - let him share their fate.
Get close to the house and distract the guard. To do this, throw a stone into the weapon box. Now enter the house and kill the only guard.
After the cut scene, other enemies will start to appear. Kill ordinary spearmen with slingshots, and with shield bearers, you will have to act in a different way.
Shoot rocks at the saltpeter bags to confuse the enemy. When his head is bared - make a fatal shot.
How to escape the dungeon and find the "Our Home" memory
After a lengthy cutscene, order Luka to throw the ingredients into the fire. The guards will lose their vigilance, and you can hide. Get out onto the roof and continue to follow the warehouse. One guard must be distracted in the same way, and in the next room, hide under the table.
How to find a sling and a memory
Once in the warehouse, go down and run to the far left corner of the building. Here lies Amicia's sling and backpack. Opposite them, you will find a workbench. To interact with him, you have to spend a knife.
Climb the stairs to the second floor and get rid of the chain to lower the platform. This will allow you to examine the Hyena map and get the memory (3) "Our Home".
How to get out of the warehouse
