Gotham Knights has arrived on the market to offer a very fun experience to all lovers of the Batman franchise. Its online cooperative proposal will surely attract many users and will also generate a common question in this field: does this game allow cross-play? That is, does Gotham Knights have a cross-play system to enjoy multiplayer games from any platform? We quickly clarify this question below.

Does Gotham Knights have a cross-play option?

• No, Gotham Knights does not allow cross-play or cross-play between platforms.

Unfortunately, this means that you can only play online multiplayer with other players using the same platform as you. For example, if you play on a PS5 console, you will only be able to play with other PS5 users, and the same goes for PC and Xbox Series X|S respectively.

This decision made by Warner Bros. is somewhat strange given the cooperative facet of the title and the times we live in, where it is increasingly common to see cross-play in many games. However, the developer herself confirmed in the Gotham Knights FAQ section that activating the cross-play system is not something that is in her short-term plans.

While this might mean they won't close the door on adding cross-play at a later date, there's no official confirmation that this will happen and we do n't think they will . Therefore (and at least for now), we will have to content ourselves with sharing the game only with users of our same platform.
