Walkthrough of the Hogwarts Legacy story quests - how to get all spells, collect pages and solve riddles

Hogwarts Legacy is a big game set in the popular Harry Potter universe in which players have to go to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In this guide, we will tell you in detail about the passage of all story missions.

Please note that we have divided all missions into three types - story, side, and spells. Using the links provided, users can go to the corresponding guide to find the quest they are interested in.

Path to Hogwarts. How to get to the castle

Create a character and watch the introductory video. We drink the potion and continue the conversation with Professor Fig. We look around. We follow the professor and go outside of the cave.

We follow the man and go further along the narrow path. We get to the wall of ice. We use the spell and destroy the ice. We pass forward and climb the wall up.

We find a chest around the corner and continue to follow the professor. Fig will restore the bridge. After that, we run across it and examine the drawing on the wall and the statue.

We go along the path to the left and get to the enchanted stone. We interact with the object and find ourselves in a cave. We talk with the goblin and get on the cart to the safe. Open the vault and go inside. We use the Revelio spell to remove the obstacle. We examine the door and go deep into the vault.

Path to Hogwarts. How to get to the castle

We move along with the professor and find a blue glow. Use Revelio on the knight and activate Lumos. We use the protego in time and fight the stone knights. We repel attacks three times and use an attacking spell to finish off the remaining enemies. On the lights, we get to another point of glow.

We stand opposite the three knights so that the glow is connected at one point. We destroy all enemies. We again reflect the attacks of enemies and reach the blue light. We pass through the portal and inspect the potion near the Pensieve of Memory. We watch the video in which we get acquainted with Ranrok.

Fig and the main character will be at Hogwarts. Let's go to the distribution ceremony. Use the answers you like to get a recommendation to the faculty. At the end of the conversation, we independently choose the faculty. Depending on the chosen house, you will have to go through a small episode.

Welcome to Hogwarts. How to find the "Manuals" page

We leave the bedroom and go into the living room. By markers, we communicate with three characters. We ask all available questions.

We follow to Professor Weasley. We use Revelio and find the page "Guide" - "Kelpie Statue". We go further and activate the flying flame - a fast travel point. We leave for the central hall of the castle. We communicate with Professor Weasley and meet Professor Fig. We select one of the available tasks on the map and go to the lessons.

Spell lessons. How to learn Accio

After a short cut-scene, use Accio. We are on the street.

We use Accio on the balls. To stop them in the blue zone, you need to release the action in the orange zone. In the second round, we take into account the moving boxes and move the balls towards ourselves. We communicate with Natsai Onai. After the end of the lesson, we talk with Professor Ronen. At the exit from the class, we can chat with Samantha Dale.

Defense Against the Dark Arts. How to explore Levioso

We activate the marker and get to the class. Learning Levioso. We use the spell and finish off the mannequin. We defeat Sebastian and after the end of the lesson, we communicate with the student to get a secondary task.

Crossed Wands: Round 1. How to break shields and win a duel

This side quest appears after completing the first Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson. A must for the storyline. On the marker, we get to Lucan Shumsby. In front of the door, activate Levioso on the statue to get the Manual page.

We communicate with the boy and participate in a duel. Use Levioso on the yellow shield and Accio on the purple one.

Weasley's after-hours. How to complete the task

We follow the marker and communicate with the professor. We ask the Weasley all the questions to complete the story mission. We choose one of the students with whom the main character will go to Hogsmeade. It won't affect the plot much.

Professor Ronen's task. How to learn Reparo

This task to learn a spell cannot be skipped in the story. We go out into the common courtyard and learn about the Reparo spell. We approach the marker and pick up two pages of "Manual". Learning Reparo. We approach the statue and restore it.

Welcome to Hogsmeade. How to buy all items and find the "Manual" pages

We go down to the gate on assignment, and use Revelio near the three bells. We collect the page of the "Manual" - "The Bells" Three Sisters "". We follow the path and find lacewings. We continue the journey together with a friend or girlfriend.

At the entrance to the village, we activate Revelio and find the page "Guide" - "Hogsmeade". We pass a little forward and in the air, we catch another page of the "Manual". The player needs to visit four shops:

Tomes and scrolls - we buy two recipes.
Ollivander's shop - we get a new wand.
Potions J. Pepin - we buy two recipes.

We use Revelio in the store "Potions of J. Pepin" and pick up the page of the same name "Manual". We go to the square to meet another student and fight a huge troll.

How to defeat a troll in armor

We press the dodge key in time, use Levioso, and attack spells. Protego will not help in this battle, so we use only dodges as defensive measures. At the end of the battle, we use ancient magic and destroy the opponent.

After the fight, we restore the area with the help of Reparo. We pass inside the store and communicate with August Hill. We get the traditional school gown.

We use Revelio and open the "Guide" page - "Mannequin in the Invisibility Hat store". Also here we open the chest and get an elegant midnight set of clothes.

We go outside, follow the partner and watch the cut scene.

We study the fireplace with the help of Revelio and get the page "Guide" - "Three brooms" . We go up the stairs and find hexagonal glasses in a gold frame. We go outside, talk with a friend and return to our living room.

Secret of the medallion How to get a wand handle

We leave the bedroom and get owl mail. On the marker, we get to Professor Fig.

Near the office, with the help of Lumos, we can grab a butterfly and take it upstairs to an empty picture. First, you need to activate it near the playing instruments near the cabinet of protection from the dark arts. We take the page "Manuals". In the Fig class, we open the chest and get the handle of the wand "Imperial - brown with gold". On the table, we find Figo's letter from Black. We pass into the room and in the absence of the professor, we expect him.

Professor Hecate's task 1. How to learn Incendio

This mission cannot be skipped in the story. We follow the marker to Professor Hecate. On the way to the office near the skeleton of a rhinoceros, we notice a flying key. We go upstairs and break open the box to get the faculty token. You need to slap on the key when it flies over the well. Crossed Wands: Round 2. How to break shields and win a duel

This mission cannot be skipped in the story. We go to Lucan Shumsby and again fight in a duel. We choose a partner and fight with other students. We break through the purple shields with Accio, and on the yellow ones we use Levioso. We finish off the enemies to complete the mission.

Combination training 1. How to perform a combination

Here we activate the task with Lucan and perform combinations of techniques on the mannequin. There is no need to hurry, so we sequentially press all the keys and complete the task.

Secrets of the forbidden section. How to collect collectibles and sneak into the library

We follow in the class of Professor Fig. We wait for the teacher and watch a short cut-scene. Let's go to Sebastian. We are in front of the library. We do not approach Sebastian but follow the stairs up.

Behind the next rise, we find the key and open the vault to get the faculty token. The partner will teach the hero the Deillumination Spell. We use it and carefully pass it into the library.

Pick up the key on the marker and go to the forbidden section. We go down and distract the ghosts. To do this, destroy the knight and quickly go to the next section. From the chest on the right, we take darkened rimless glasses. Use invisibility and open the chest with the eye.

We go further, apply Levioso and get the "Guide" page. In the chest on the table, we find the item "Braid - blue".

We use Reparo and get golden glasses with dragon eyes from the chest. We go down one level below and near the arch, we find dueling gloves of the dark arts in a box. We explore the ancient magic and go through the portal. In front of the gate, we find a cape for Quidditch, then we go to the reading room.

We shoot at the rune above the arch and pass on. We defeat the knights and move to the bridge. Again we shoot at the rune, kill the enemies and on the platform on the left we get to the chest. Inside we find hexagonal glasses in a gold frame. We shoot at the rune and quickly run along the path, otherwise, the platforms will disappear and the hero will die.

In the next section, shoot the rune and jump onto the platform on the right. We pass along it forward, and again we launch the spell at the mark and get to the chest with a steel blue mantle. We return back and go to the next room. We pick up a weakened purple scarf with a lock from the chest. We destroy the knights and take the book. Let's watch the video. We use Revelio near the shelves and get the page "Guides" - "Enchanted Books".

Books and adversity. How to collect collectibles

We return to Professor Fig and talk about the found book. After a short dialogue, the mission will be completed. The player will open a lot of additional activities.

We go to South Hogsmeade to sell items. Immediately activate the empty painting and move diagonally to the right. At the boxes, we find a butterfly and return it back to get the page "Manual".

Books and adversity. How to collect collectibles

We use Revelio and nearby we pick up another collectible item from this category. We rise above and grab the page "Manual".

We go to the Invisibility Hat clothing store, use the Deillumination Spell and open the chest.

We use Revelio near the skeleton and find the page "Guide" - "Validoscope".

We go out into the street, use the same spell and near the door, we find a collectible item - "Clothing store" Invisibility Hat "". With the help of Accio, we grab another page of the "Manual" on the square. We go to the "Sweet Kingdom".

We use Revelio near the sweets and get the page "Guide" - "Flying Pops".

Herbal studies. How to learn to grow plants

We can walk to the greenhouse across the bridge. We move along the path to the left and climb into the owl house. In the chest on the first floor, we find mahogany-colored fingerless gloves. Next, we climb to the upper tier, use Revelio and open the page "Guide" - "Hogwarts Owls". We get to the castle and use Incendio on the right to open the "Guide" page.

Also, at the entrance, we activate Revelio and find a collectible item - “Flattened Armor”. In the next corridor, interact with the wall on the right and find the velvet cloak of the faculty.

We reach the greenhouse and attend a herbology lesson. The hero will meet Professor Chesnouk. We transplant the mandrake. After the lesson, we communicate with the professor. We go to the pot and plant a star anise. We approach Leander and go to another greenhouse. We pick up the plants and throw the cabbage into the mannequin. We return to Professor Chesnouk.

Girl from Ouagado. How to collect items and complete the quest

We go to Lower Hogsfield and meet a friend. On the way, we go to the caretaker's house. We use Revelio and find the page "Manuals" - "Watcher's Tools". We also pick up a gray nightcap. We go down to the water, rearrange the cube on the platform and use Incendio. We go down and find the majestic school robe in the chest. Here we pick up a crimson winter coat.

We look around the nearest houses and find a school uniform with a checkered blazer in the central hut, a Scottish suit with a jumper behind the house, the handle of the Orbicular - Gold wand next to the merchant, a sorcerer's wrinkled hat in a bag by the water, an elegant uniform with a vest to the left of the house, dark arts dueling gloves behind the barrels behind the hut and the handle of the Starry Blue wand behind the cart in the water.

Merlin's trials. How to solve the puzzle

We run up to the woman and destroy the bandits. We communicate with Nora Treadwell. We examine the chest and get leaves of sweet mallow. We set fire to three bowls on the columns and again we talk with Nora.

Potions lesson. How to learn to brew potions

We examine the table with the help of Revelio, and we find the page "Guide" - "Professor Sharp's Auror Badge". In the lesson, we study the creation of rowan broth. We communicate with the professor and Garrett Weasley. We agree to help a classmate. We collect the ingredients and prepare the Edurus potion. We talk with the professor to complete the quest.

Scrope's last hope. How to get to the secret cave

We follow into the courtyard and find the mysterious Scrope note.

We leave the castle, move the box and find the second mysterious note.

We cut the pumpkin to the right of the house and take away the third mysterious note

We go down to the water and meet an elf. We receive instructions and move to the grotto. We use the toast on the pedestal and go deep into the cave. Take Apollonia Black's magazine from the table.

Meet the ghost Richard Galkrad. Here we find a treasure map in a chest. We move along the marker to Scrope to complete the story mission.

Professor Hecate's task 2. How to learn Expelliarmus

In this optional activity, the player will have to perform a few simple actions - dodge enemy attacks ten times and use Incendio five times. This can be done at the dueling club or in the woods behind Hogwarts. After fulfilling the conditions, we attend a lesson and learn the Expelliarmus spell.

Calming Galkrad. How to find the book and get through the dungeon

We follow through the Forbidden Forest to Richard Galkrad. On the way, we find a cart with two scarves in a small puddle. We follow the ghost. We pass along the marker and use the bowl to open the portal. We pass into the cave. We shoot at three mechanisms to open the gate and create a bridge. We pass into a small cave under the rock, destroy the spiders and get a blood-red mask from the chest.

We jump on the platforms, pull the hero further and at a dead end we find a pink and purple scarf with a lock. We return to the central path, use the buttons and go forward. Use the platforms again to get across the abyss.

If you drag the character to the left ledge, then Quidditch goggles can be found at the dead end. On the right path, we will also get to a box with a weekend school uniform with a jumper. We also find a sturdy felt hat in the cul-de-sac. We pick up a pervanche -colored tailcoat in a small nook.

Use platforms and Accio to pick up all the items in the cave. We go out into the open arena and destroy all the spiders. We concentrate on large enemies, as small ones will attack non-stop. On the right path, we find tinted rimless glasses. We use three buttons and we pass along the bridge.

Calming Galkrad. How to find the book and get through the dungeon

We destroy all the defenders and sentries, use the blue liquid, and go through the portal. We follow forward and get to the open arena. We communicate with Percival. The hero got into the cartography hall and now he will be able to upgrade his talents. We leave the zone. Climb up the stairs and open the chest with the eye.

Returning to Hogwarts, we immediately grab the page of the "Manual" and take out a charming school cloak from the chest.

We go along the corridor and find the key to the vault. We follow him and get the faculty token. We continue to walk and near the dragon skeleton, we find another key. We use Revelio and find a collectible item - A sleeping Dragon Statue. Using the key, we get the faculty token on the upper tier.

Here we examine the monument and get the page "Guide" - "Urn with ashes". In the next room near the stairs, we study the wall and open "Burn marks".

Flying on broomsticks. How to learn to fly on a broomstick

We leave into the outer courtyard of the castle and the income of the marker. We start the lesson. Sequentially we fly through all the rings. We meet Everett Clopton in the air and go on a tour around the castle. We come back and finish the lesson. Now the player can go to Hogsmeade and buy a broom. Additional tasks will appear.

Room of Requirement. How to open the secret room and learn Evanesco and the Witchcraft spell

We leave for the Astronomy Tower to meet with Professor Weasley. The hero will find a help room. We pass inside and study Evanesco. We follow forward and find a note on the floor near the fireplace. We take out the box, use Levioso, and at the top, we find the daily school uniform of the headman.

A little further we pick up a note near the bathroom. We move the boxes and find a crimson winter coat. We get to the fast travel point and find the elf.

After a short cut-scene, we examine the determination table and talk with Professor Weasley. Learning the Witchcraft spell. We arrange various objects in the room and get the side task "Interior decoration".

In the shadows of the crypt. How to learn Confringo

We go to Sebastian in the office of protection from the dark arts. Let's go to crypto. We examine the chests to find items of equipment. We study Confringo and light the candelabra. We return back to the Defense Against the Dark Arts tower.

Professor Chesnoke's task 1. How to learn Wingardium Leviosa

We go for the mandrake and the poisonous tentacula to the store. Along the way, we can grab the page of the "Manual" above the bridge. Inside the store, activate an empty picture and break open the box with the eye. The butterfly from the picture is near the chimney of the house on the street. After buying the items, we go to the Forbidden Forest and use the items on the enemies. We return to the professor and learn Wingardium Leviosa. In the greenhouse, we also pick up a letter from Eleanor in a room with a pot for planting.

Hall of Cartography. How to complete the task

We communicate with Professor Fig and go down to the cartography room. We talk with Rackham. After a long cut-scene, the mission will be over.

Trial of Percival Rackham. How to complete the mission

We follow to the indicated marker in the northeastern part of the location. We are waiting for Professor Fig.

On the left side of the camp, we find orders from goblins. We destroy all enemies in any way and go inside the fortress.

We go up the stairs and after talking with Percival we go down.

We activate the portal and go to the first test. We move forward and go down the stairs under the bridge. Activate platforms. We pass further, we find an active point in front of the gate and launch the portal. We go ahead.

We destroy the guards. We use the platforms to bypass the portal and get to the next room. We move the platform to the other side, activate the ancient magic and go through the portal.

We move the platform further and return back to get to the marker. We continue to move the platforms across the abyss in the same way. We defeat a powerful enemy.

How to defeat the Pensieve Guardian

This opponent will often use ground slam, and also try to hit the hero with powerful spheres. We evade all tricks and hide behind the columns. We also use spells of the corresponding color to bring down the opponent's attack. We fight at the usual pace and destroy the enemy. We inspect the Pensieve of Memory to complete the test and exit into the mapping room. We talk with Charles Rookwood.
