Psychosis is an extremely dangerous condition that occurs from a poisonous gas sprayed by some opponents. In addition, unsuccessful lockpicking and special mines also affect the mental state of your hero. When the psychosis reaches a certain point, a special enemy known as Skinner will appear. It is impossible to hide from him, he will pursue you and reduce the scale of the hero's vitality.

The best way to restore sanity is to use the antidote. You can find it in first-aid kits and cabinets, as well as pick it up from the bodies of dead characters. If you do not have it, you will have to run away from the monster until the psychosis passes. But this is not the best option, because it will take you a lot of time, and other enemies will remain in the location that can damage you.
