Spider boots can be found in the Whispering Depths, which is not far from the habitat of the matriarch. Follow through the well from the descent down and along the tunnel forward, and then turn left.

The uterus will still summon ordinary mobs, but there will be an order of magnitude fewer of them. Attack monsters with area-of-effect spells. Keep in mind that they can teleport behind their back and attack the weakest heroes on your team.
