How to change your nickname during The Finals playtest

 

From October 26 to November 5 , open testing of the totally destructible shooter The Finals is taking place on Steam . When we first enter the game, we receive one of the random standard nicknames. In this guide we will tell you how to change your nickname to the desired one.

There is an opportunity to do this, but the game only warns about it once, so some players lose the link and cannot find the desired tab. The fact is that the nickname does not change in the game itself but on the website of the developer studio. Here are the instructions for changing your in-game name:

1. Go to the Embark Studios website.
2. Sign in with your Steam, Xbox or PlayStation account.
3. Click on your name in the top right corner and then open Profile.
4. Click on the “Edit” button, which is located to the right of the “Display Name” field.
5. Enter your desired nickname and click “Save”.

You can change your nickname every ten minutes. It will update in the game a few seconds after saving. It is thanks to the nickname that you can find another player, but for this you need to know not only him, but also the four ID numbers.
