How to quickly accumulate energy and umbral remains in Lords of the Fallen (2023)

Souls-like games are always resource-poor, and the new Lords of the Fallen is no exception. You can collect extra souls using the multiplier, but any mistake will leave you with nothing. In this guide, we will tell you about the simplest and safest way to farm energy (souls) and umbral remains (currency for boss items). All you need to do is take a comfortable position and have some free time.

What location is the easiest to farm souls in?

The Bell Tower is one of the best locations for collecting resources. Any strong enemy can be killed by simply jumping into the abyss. This way you will lose a little health, but will avoid a grueling battle and instantly receive a reward for the defeated enemy. In addition, there are floating platforms that break the developers' idea a little.

Once here, get rid of the monster in front of you. This can be done in the standard way, or simply run past him and jump off the platform. After this, go to the Umbral Dimension.

Then move right to the floating platform. You need to pull it and then move to the center towards the column. It will protect you from flying projectiles if you decide not to clear the area.

You just have to wait 6 minutes until the Grim Reaper appears. At this time, you can shoot those around you, so that later you can leave the game and not worry about your progress. For everything to work, you need to stand in a certain place. Most likely, you will not guess the correct position the first time, so for the first couple of appearances of the Reaper it is better to be in the game and control the process. You can see our successful position in the screenshot below.

After the eye icon in the upper right corner turns red, an elite monster will attack you every 3 minutes. But being on the platform will make him appear at the cliff, after which he will immediately fall and die. This way you will receive resources as if you killed him, and also increase the soul production multiplier.

In addition to a huge amount of energy, you will receive a special resource that can be exchanged for boss items. You will meet a merchant of such items a little further in the story, but it is worth remembering that he is only located in the Umbral Dimension.
