Camera work in the depths is one of the main quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You will be able to carry out this quest after completing The Events at Hyrule Castle. To do so, go to the Watch Fort and talk to ) in Downtown Hyrule (-0248, 0134, 0018).

This is the short character who is in the building next to the balloon. Josha should be talking to him.

The mission will begin when the conversation ends. The marker will take you to the Hyrule Plain Abyss, jump, and use the parasail before crashing to the ground when you reach the bottom. Talk to Arin and he will point out one of the Sanctuary Roots, and the bonfires that mark the trail of Rotver, which you must follow to advance with the mission.

When you reach the camp, continue west. You won't be long in seeing the light of another bonfire to head to.

You must continue west to the Root of Iausus (-0785, -0433, -0469).

You will see Rotver right next to this Root. After the conversation, he will give you the Camera, which from now on you can use to photograph any character, insect, animal, plant, weapon, or material. Now take a photo of the statue. After the conversation, it's your turn to return to the Watch Fort, where the marker sends you, to talk to Rotver once again.

The mission ends here, and this main mission does not directly activate any other, so you can continue with any of the others you have available.
