In World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, classes have received a lot of changes. Here is our guide to the Feral Druid in 10.1.5.

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is the new expansion of Blizzard's MMO. Patch 10.2 is released on November 8, 2023. To help you, we offer you a guide on the Wild Druid.

This guide will help you with the release of  10.2 and Season 3. Here you will find different talent trees for Raid and Mythic Dungeon, information on rotation, optimal statistics, and the strengths and weaknesses of the specialization.

Raid Talents and M+ of the Feral Druid in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight 10.2

In this section, we will offer you two possible talent trees. Please feel free to click on the images to enlarge them.

The Feral Druid may be a fairly niche specialization, but we wanted to thank Psybear for the explanation work he provides.

As this build was written before the official release, it is subject to potential changes.

The AoE build will pick up key talents like Primal Wrath, Double Scratch, Brutal Slash, and Tiger Tenacity.

The difference of this build will mainly be found on Lunar Inspiration which therefore requires using Lunar Flash as a DoT and also the latest talents. There are several choices here which will depend a lot on the balancing and your preferences. We chose Feral Frenzy, Adaptive Swarm, and Infected Wound but if you want more AoE options you can choose Primal Wrath, Double Scratch, Rampant Ferocity, Slash and Tear, or Appetite of the Dominant Predator.

Feral Druid rotation in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight 10.2

The Feral Druid does not follow a rotation, but rather a list of priorities. Actions are ranked from highest priority to lowest priority.

Note that the Feral rotation uses slightly more complex systems such as pandemic timing or snapshooting to be played optimally. This guide only covers the basics of rotation.

Rotation of the Feral Druid in Mythical Dungeon (Multiple):

  1. Use Tiger's Fury with as little energy as possible.
  2. Use Primal Wrath to spend your combo points, during Bloodclaw if possible.
  3. Apply Claw to as many targets as possible, using the Sudden Ambush passive when available.
  4. Apply Rosser to your targets.
  5. Use Summon Spirits and Tiger's Fury as soon as possible, together. During Tiger's Fury, use your Brutal Slash charges to full effect.
  6. Use Berserker whenever possible.
  7. Use Adaptive Swarm as soon as possible on your target. Do not use it on targets that already have 2 charges.
  8. Use Brutal Slash as soon as you have 3 charges.
  9. Use Sweep, Brutal Slash,  Shred, Thrash, and Claw to generate Blood Claws. Use Thrash and Scratch for this only if the bleeding is not active.
  10. Use Sweep to generate combo points.

Feral Druid Rotation in Raid (Single Target):

  1. Keep your bleeding on the target: Tear with 5 combo points and during Tiger's Fury if possible, Claw, Lunar Burst.
  2. Use Fierce Bite when Dominant Predator is active.
  3. Use Fierce Bite to spend your combo points.
  4. Use Tiger's Fury whenever possible.
  5. Use Summon Spirits as soon as possible and at 0 combo points, at the same time as Tiger's Fury.
  6. Use Berserker whenever possible.
  7. Try as much as possible to use your spells that spend combo points ( Rip, Ferocious Bite ) while the Blood Claw passive is active. To generate this passive, you must use three spells generating different combo points.
  8. Use Slash, Brutal Slash, Thrash, Claw, and Lunar Shard to generate Bloodclaw. If Claw and Lunar Flare are already on target, use the first three first.
  9. Use Brutal Slash as soon as you have too many charges.
  10. Use Lambeau to generate combo points.

Optimal Feral Druid stats in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight 10.2

The statistics should be taken in this order. Note that changes may still occur between now and the release of the raid.

 Critical > Mastery = Haste > Versatility

Agility is still the best stat.

Strengths and Weaknesses Feral Druid in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

The Feral Druid is one of the specializations that is really enjoying the transition to Dragonflight. His talent tree was much improved until the end of the beta cycles. If you want to play Feral Druid, now is the time.
