Complete with our guide Find Princess Zelda, one of the main missions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Complete the prologue and learn how to get along with Link in this new adventure.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom begins with Link and Zelda under Hyrule Castle ... searching for "something." During this prologue, follow Zelda down the stairs. It won't take long for you to see a sequence, after which she simply continues descending. There will be a few more sequences, during which you don't have to worry about anything: you will be taught how to wield the sword and Zelda will pause a couple of times, leading to a couple of conversations and sequences. Soon, you will see some bats to eliminate and then another conversation will take place.
Keep going, down the stairs, until bad things happen. After the sequence, pick up the damaged Master Sword and break the roots blocking your path.
Just past the door, you will see a stone arch that you must interact with. When the door opens, go that way (you can't climb the mechanism wall), swim, and proceed along the only possible path. You will have to drop from various points, always into the water, to reach your destination. Once down, open the chest in front of you to find some Archaic Sandals, your first armor.
After that, look for the exit and dive again. You can press the R button to fall faster. Get out of the water and go through the stone arch, going up some steps and then go down, you will see the indicator that you are on the Great Island of Dawn. Move up the steps from the plaza and then go to the right, ignoring the enemy coming from your left (you can't defeat him for now). Go in the direction of the small green statue and interact with it.
The Helper Golem will give you Prunia's tablet, which basically activates the map interface, objective, etc. When the conversation ends, activate the pedestal next to you to deploy a bridge and continue. Head towards the marker, diving off another ledge to continue towards the Temple of Time. Along the way you can pick up some Tree Branches to use as an improvised weapon if you encounter the golems. You can heal yourself with apples, pick them up from the ground or hit trees where you see them hanging to make them fall.
A little further on, on the way to the marker, you will see the Helper Golem next to a bonfire. Come rest and talk to him.
Now, swim and go up the stairs towards the Temple of Time. Be careful because there is a golem with a sword and shield, try to dodge to slow down time and finish him off quickly. Don't forget to take his weapons from him when you finish him off. Interact with the Temple door to see a sequence. Upon completion, the main quest The Closed Door will be activated. It should be noted that The Search for Zelda will always remain active (or almost). It is simply a trunk quest, which is completed when you progress far enough by completing other quests.
