World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is the new expansion of Blizzard's MMO. Patch 10.2 is released on November 8, 2023. To help you, we offer you a guide on the Guardian Druid.
This guide will help you with the release of 10.2 and Season 3. Here you will find different talent trees for Raid and Mythic Dungeon, information on rotation, optimal statistics, and the strengths and weaknesses of the specialization.
Raid Talents and M+ of the Guardian Druid in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight 10.2
In this section, we will offer you two builds in raid and m+. Please feel free to click on the images to enlarge them.
Talents of the Druid Guardian in Mythical Dungeon:
This build is a very general build that allows you to easily run on Mythic+. You can change a few points to the right of the tree for an Arcane Bear build that is a little more complex to play but has a higher damage potential.
Talents of the Druid Guardian in Raid:
For the raid build, we will invest a few points in arcane skills to improve our damage in mono. If you prefer an option without Lunar Spells, you can choose Expeditious Claws in place of the two rightmost talents of the tree.
Guardian Druid rotation in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight 10.2
Depending on whether you use the Galactic Guardian build, or the Thrasher build, the rotation and priorities are significantly different. However, whether you are in M+ or Raid, it is quite similar.
From a purely DPS perspective, you can follow the following rotation and priorities:
- Sleeper's Rage (you may consider shifting it to a more favorable time for your survival)
- Heart of the Beast with your Wild form for DPS when you don't have to tank
- Summon the spirits (you can consider shifting it to a more favorable time for your survival). You can also use it offensively in Wild form if you have the chance.
- Incarnation: Guardian of Ursoc (you can consider shifting it to a more favorable time for your survival)
- Maintain Moonlight and use your Galactic Guardian effects
- Rosser
- Mutilation
- Spend Rage on Ironfur (defensive) or Mutilate (offensive)
- AoE Sweep and Single-Target Lunar Flash as a dash
Then, it's up to you to manage the situation with your different CDs available. In Mythical +, depending on your available CDs, you will be able to make groups of enemies larger or smaller to advance efficiently in the dungeon. In Raid, it's different, since you must know the difficult moments of your confrontation to place your CDs at the necessary times. You must also communicate with your healers who certainly have CDs to give you at times when you do not have any available.
Among your defensive CDs, in addition to those we mentioned before, you will be able to use Bark which has a low cooldown to allow you to use it regularly. You can also use Frenzied Regeneration when your health drops below 50% to help your Heal. Finally, Survival Instincts should be used when you are going to suffer a significant amount of damage.
Optimal Guardian Druid stats in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight 10.2
The statistics should be taken in this order. Note that changes may still occur between now and the release of the raid and Mythics +.
Survival: Versatility > Mastery = Haste > Critical
DPS: Versatility > Haste > Critical > Mastery
When tanking, keep in mind that the item level of your gear is most important.
Strengths and Weaknesses Guardian Druid in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight 10.2
The Guardian Druid has experienced the change from Shadowlands to Dragonflight well. Two gameplays (Galactic Guardian or Thrasher) are available and will allow players to understand the Guardian Druid in all its complexity. Despite the fact that he doesn't seem to be dominant in the tank meta, he remains a safe bet.
