How to defuse a bomb in RoboCop: Rogue City

 

Playing as the “Tin Man” in RoboCop: Rogue City, you will not only be a detective and a walking turret with endless ammunition but also a sapper. You'll encounter this type of puzzle twice: first, you'll need to defuse the bomb on the bank manager's belt, and then, in a minute, disconnect the nine wires from the second charge while near Detroit. In this guide, we will describe in detail how to safely defuse both bombs.

How to defuse a bomb in a jar

Moving forward in the story, RoboCop will head to the OCP Bank. You will have to overcome the OCP guards and get to the vault, where you will meet Max Becker and the bank manager with explosives on his belt. Over the radio, they will briefly outline the situation and the basics of sapper work. To disarm this type of explosive, you need to disconnect the wires in order of decreasing voltage, namely:

1. Disconnect the green 24V wire.
2. Next, we open the blue wire to 12V.
3. There remains one more 12V wire, which is twisted, but the connection point will be at the bottom.
4. After that, we were credited with demining, but if suddenly you have a different situation, then disconnect the remaining wire at 6V.

How to defuse a bomb in a sewer

You will encounter the next bomb much later when you clear the city from the invasion of bandits. Street vultures hid in the sewers, placing many red barrels and planting explosives. There are not many enemies in this location, so it is better to abandon automatic weapons because RoboCop can still attack with his iron fist. An explosive with nine wires and a one-minute timer is tied to a pole in the center. The order is as follows:

1. We go from left to right, three blocks at a time. First, we disconnect the second wire, which is powered by 30V.
2. To the left of it, we disconnect the 24V wire.
3. The last one left in this block is 21V, which will be next on our list.
4. Let's move to the middle block. 19V is slightly darker, easy to notice, and should be turned off first.
5. The connection diagram is identical to the first block. The 16V wire will be located to the left of the previous one, after which only 12V will remain to be disconnected.
6. In the final block, the 9V wire is easy to see. Turn it off.
7. You are left with two wires. At 6V is in the center, after which it remains to pull out the last wire at 3V.
