"Garden of Serenity" is a new location in Honkai: Star Rail, added with the next major update. Unlike some other regions, here players can find 14 regular chests, two more valuable ones, and one space piggy bank. If for some reason you can't find all the chests, use this guide.
In each region of Honkai: Star Rail, gamers can find chests of varying rarity. Simple chests are often in plain sight, while more valuable ones are hidden behind enemies or puzzles. In them, you will find not only experience to improve your character but also star jade, as well as many materials and resources for advancing in the game. In addition, the maps often contain piggy banks - special types of creatures, for defeating which you will receive good rewards.
How to get to the Garden of Serenity
To unlock this region, you will need to participate in the Fox's Ghost Story event. However, even if it is not available, you can complete the continuation mission of Mastery "A Walk in the Garden and an Interrupted Dream."

Please note that several chests can be found on the floating islands, which can be accessed using special mirrors. You could get acquainted with similar devices while completing the story quest. In addition, in the location, you will also find two more valuable chests guarded by monsters. Their discovery does not count toward the overall score.

What achievements and rewards can you get for finding all the chests?
During the Fox Ghost Story-themed event, all players can earn additional rewards in the Patrol section. However, you don't have to find all 14 chests and the piggy bank to do this. It is enough to detect 6 of them. In this case, you will receive the following items:
- Traveler's Guide (4);
- Purified ether (3);
- Lost Crystal (4).
Please note that these rewards will only be available for a limited time, so you should hurry to claim them! By the way, to find an ordinary chest on the floating island, players will unlock the achievement “Through Hardships to the Stars. ”
Follow the western part of the location and find a small shed. Directly below it is the first regular chest.
Chest No. 2 (valuable)
From the previous chest, run along the path to the north. After crossing on the right you will see two monsters guarding a valuable chest. To quickly deal with enemies, use characters with quantum and ice damage types.
Chest #3 (regular)
Continue south along the only path. On the left after the transition, there is a regular chest.
Space piggy bank
After examining the contents of the previous chest, run west. At the fork, turn left and approach the abyss. The piggy bank of space will be waiting here. As usual, you need to hit her in time for the battle to begin. If she runs away, return to the location later and try again.
Unlike many of its relatives, the pig will appear on the battlefield with a large support group. We advise you to deal damage to her first in order to kill her before she disappears. The remaining enemies can be dealt with later.
Chest #4 (regular)
Located in the same place where you could find the space piggy bank.
Chest No. 5 (luxurious)
The next chest is guarded by a strong enemy, the Spectral Envoy-Aurumaton, along with the Phantom Guard and their minions. To damage the boss's vulnerability, use heroes with physical, electro, or quantum damage. There is no point in trying to freeze a strong opponent since she is immune to these types of attacks.
Chest #6 (regular)
To find the next simple chest, you need to walk past the monsters (or defeat them), activate the spatial anchor, go down the stairs, and look to the right.
Chest #7 (regular)
Here you will see a small passage to the mirror, which was activated when completing the story quest. Head to this area and look behind that mirror - there will be a chest waiting here.
Chest #8 (regular)
Don't rush to leave the area. Instead, go to the mirror and interact with it. You will find yourself on a small island with one mirror. Enter it and then the first mirror on the left. A regular chest will appear in front of you.
Chest #9 (regular)
When you pick up the first chest, enter any of the three mirrors, then return to the large island again. You will see a small rock appear behind the island. A transparent path leads to it - follow it and take the chest. Using the mirror standing here you can go back.
Note: For receiving this chest you will receive the “Through Hardships to the Stars” achievement in the “Understand the Incomprehensible” section (5 star jades).
Chest #10 (regular)
Head to the safe area and approach the awning. There will be a simple chest waiting behind the railing on the right.
Chest #11 (regular)
Another common chest in this area is located a little further. Cross the bridge and turn right towards the cliff.
Chest #12 (regular)
From the previous location, run along the path and climb the stairs. The chest will be waiting on the left near the rise.
Chest #13 (regular)
Head towards the lift, but do not step on it, otherwise, you will rise to the upper level. First, activate the spatial anchor and examine the ordinary chest.
Chest #14 (regular)
Now use the lift and go forward to the stairs. Go down and turn left. There will be a reward waiting at the cliff.
Chest #15 (regular)
Return to the stone slab and go down to the lower level. From the spatial anchor, run to the beginning of the location. There is a chest on the left in front of the arch.
Chest #16 (regular)
Run through the arch and follow it to a dead end. You will run into the last reward available in this region.
