Reed pipes are special musical instruments added to Genshin Impact with the latest update. They are used in various puzzles, for solving which you can get rich or precious chests. Today we will tell you how to find and solve all the riddles with reed pipes.
Where to find all the reed pipe puzzles
There are currently 11 puzzles available in Genshin Impact using these tools, but they're sure to be added to more regions in the future. The puzzles are not related to each other in any way, so players are free to solve them in any order.
How to solve riddles with reed pipes
To activate the reed pipes, you will first need to find dew bubbles. In some puzzles, they will be available near the tools, while in others you will have to look for dewy branches that can produce such spheres.
You can move the floating balls with the ability of a xenochrome spherical octopus . Often on the surface you will find devices that allow you to gain this skill. Underwater, you will have to find the creature and borrow its skills.
Next to each puzzle there is another device, when interacting with it you will see the correct sequence for activating the pipes. Small spheres, from one to five, will appear above the tools. It is in the same sequence that the bubbles need to explode to make waves. A character with a bow is best suited for this.
Reed pipes No. 1
From the Epicles Opera House, follow the path south. On the map you will see a pier icon - go here. Nearby, right on the shore, there is a device for obtaining the ability of a xenochrome octopus. Use the skill on the floating balls to move them: one ball to the two pipes on the left and one bubble to the instrument on the right. Shoot the left ball first, then the right one.

From the teleporter in this area, go down to the coast and examine the device, which will show the correct sequence. In fact, you don't even have to move any of the bubbles: just shoot them in the same sequence as in the screenshot below. As a reward you will receive a precious chest.
Reed pipes No. 3
The next puzzle is underwater. Get to the cave entrance at the Ruins of Fort Charybdis and dive. You'll immediately see some bubbles and octopuses floating around. Borrow the ability from the creature and move the ball from below closer to the first pipe. When it is on the lower level, push it to the second so that the wave covers two devices at once. Rise a little higher, hit the right sphere first, then the left.
A rich chest will appear, and nearby you will find a time trial. If you manage to complete it in 60 seconds, you will receive a precious chest as a reward.
Reed pipes No. 4
You can get to the next puzzle using the teleporter, which is located next to the fast travel point. The pipes are waiting for you on the top level of the tower. As you rise, you will see four devices that need to be activated using two bubbles.
The second one is on the large gear on top (use another teleporter). Bring the sphere down and connect it to the ball in the center. The result will be a huge sphere, which, when destroyed, will hook all the tools. As a reward, players will be able to examine a rich chest.
Reed pipes No. 5
From the previous place, jump down and dive under the water. On the destroyed bridge you will see a bubble and an octopus floating nearby. Borrow the ability from the creature - with its help you need to extend the lifting column and lower the pipe.
After that, simply burst the sphere and take the contents of the rich chest.
Reed pipes No. 6
Return back to the continent and explore the base of the mountain east of Lucin Fountain. First you need to take any character of the Anemo element and activate the hydro totem. A bubble will appear in the flower to the right of it. Wait a little for the wind to pick up the sphere and it begins to rise.
For some time the ball will linger opposite the pipes. If you miss the moment, the sphere will rise onto the rock - in this case, you will not be able to activate the tools. You will have to use the abilities of the xenochrome octopus to lower the ball lower or simply burst it.
For this challenge, you will receive a precious chest.
Reed pipes No. 7
To solve the next riddle you don't even have to do anything. Head to the Hydro Archon statue in this area and go down to the water. You'll see a bubble that you just need to shoot to reveal a rich chest.

From the previous location, follow the river bed and find another puzzle. Take the xenochrome octopus' abilities and move the left ball so that its area of effect reaches the second bubble. Shoot the first sphere.
Reed pipes No. 9
The next spot with the pipes is at the top of the hill between Marco Station and the Weeping Willow by the lake. There is no need to invent anything here - just wait until the plant throws out a bubble again. You need to shoot at the moment when the ball flies at the device level.
Reed pipes No. 10
From the previous puzzle, run to the Weeping Willow by the lake and dive under the water. Right under the tree you will see a mysterious altar, when interacting with it you will understand only one word - “bubble”. Looking around, you will find contaminated bacterial mucus (purple crystals) - these can be cleaned using the xenochrome octopus ability. But first he must be freed.
Explore the area and find the Xenochrome Ostrobe swimming in the company of its relatives. Use his ability on the algae holding the octopus. Return to the contaminated slime and cleanse it - first the smaller crystal, then the large one. Having done this, the plant will release a bubble. Move it towards the altar and place it so that it is between the two pipes that need to be activated first. When it bursts, they will be activated first, and a little later the wave will reach the third device.
Opening a rich chest will reveal a xenochrome jellyfish. With its help, you can destroy the rocks and open a passage to the cave.
Reed pipes No. 11
The last reed pipe puzzle in the new region is located in the eastern part of the area between the small island. Use the device to gain xenochrome octopus skills and place the spheres as shown in the screenshot below. Shoot the bubble on the left and wait for the waves to activate all the tools.
A precious chest will become available as a reward for solving the puzzle.
