STRONGER THAN SUPER SAIYAN? SON GOKU HAS A FORM IN DRAGON BALL THAT YOU'VE PROBABLY NEVER SEEN BEFORE

 

Over the course of the Dragon Ball anime, Goku has achieved many Saiyan levels. Not only does his haircut change but also his strength level. But very rarely do we get to see a lesser-known form of Saiyan that you probably don't remember.

What form is it? Normally, Goku and the other Saiyans' hair stands on end and turns blonde when they transform into a Super Saiyan. They also get green eye color.

However, in the form that KawaiDB discovered on Twitter or X, there is no sign of this. Although Son Goku's hair stands on end and he appears to have an aura, his hair and eyes are black.

It is a special form called “Saiyan power”. This is a special form in which Son Goku becomes a Super Saiyan without visually transforming. The assumption is that this is either a precursor to Super Saiyan or an even stronger form in which the user does not even have to visually transform.

Where does the form appear? The shape has already made several appearances in anime and video games. So far she has appeared in the following series, films, and games:

• In the film Dragon Ball Z - The Movie: Super Saiyan Son Goku
• In the video game Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission (as a playing card)
• In the anime Dragon Ball GT

KawaiDB thinks the shape is due to a correction by Toei Animation. In one scene, Son Goku fights against the Ginyu Force in the afterlife. He was originally going to be drawn as a Super Saiyan, but at the last minute, the writers revised that, and his hair was dyed black again.

Son Goku can also be seen with a halo on the cards shown by the user. So perhaps this form really alludes to the correction by the production studio.

Will the form appear again in the future? Currently, Dragon Ball continues in the form of Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Daima. We can't say for sure if the Saiyan form will exist again in any capacity. But it would be possible that it would appear in one of the two formats.

In Dragon Ball Daima, Goku and his friends are shrunk back to child size. The focus of the anime should be on martial arts and not on spectacular AI attacks. The start is planned for autumn 2024.

Dragon Ball Super is currently retelling the events of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The next arc will probably start in 2024. This will probably continue with Black Freezer.
