Fortnite OG servers are now back, but many players are unable to connect to the game due to a bug.
Patch 27.00 launched the original season of Chapter 4 on Fortnite, bringing with it the return of the legendary map from the first season of the Battle Royale including Tilted Tower, the return of mythical weapons and items, and even the addition of new skins thanks to the battle pass.
While the servers were offline to deploy the patch, they are now back and many players are having issues connecting. We tell you why.
Unable to connect to Fortnite OG servers, what can I do?
If, like many people, you receive the message “Unable to connect to Fortnite servers. Please try again later", well, this is due to the large number of players trying to connect to the game at the same time following maintenance that took the servers offline.
All you can do when you receive the message is wait and hope that the load on the servers eventually reduces as the minutes and hours pass after the release of the 27.00 update. It should be noted that if you click on the “Relaunch” button, you will have to go through the queue which currently affects all players on Fortnite OG.
