If you are familiar with Metal Horror Escape, then in this game you will encounter only a few new mechanics, without which it will be impossible to complete it. Your task is to find various objects and use them to open doors and passages to ultimately escape from the house.
Stealth
It is not difficult to escape from the enemy on low difficulty, but at more difficult levels his speed increases and his hearing improves. So try not to make noise unless necessary.
Throwing objects
One of the innovations is throwing objects. You can use rocks or heavy tools to break windows to get inside rooms. In addition, throwing boards will help you climb onto ledges and high climbs.
You can also distract your pursuer by throwing things. If you need to go to a location that the Joker is currently patrolling, simply throw any object in the opposite direction. He will definitely go check the source of the noise.
Traps
Initially, there will only be a few of these traps on the map, but the longer you try to get out, the more traps will appear. The enemy places them in random places. Sometimes it can get to the point that in a small passage, you will find several traps at once.
Getting out of the trap is easy: click on the marked point several times, and then hold down the button. If you don't have time to get out, the Joker will grab the hero and you will miss one day.
How to Summon the Joker
Once in the room, examine the top right drawer of the desk. Here, take the key and diary (optional). Use the key to open the door and find the following things:
- Candle. In the living room on a candlestick;
- Matches. Located in the kitchen at the sink;
- Joker card. On the cabinet by the front door.
Exit through the back door or go around the building to go down to the basement. A cutscene will begin, after which you will have to return to the house. Go into the hero's room and open the box, then take the needle. Use it to pierce the balls and watch another video.
How to find and sharpen a knife
Throw away the needle and diary from your inventory as they are no longer needed. Examine the wooden cabinet and move it aside - a passage will open. Here, pick up a few stones. Break the glass on the window and get out.
Go around the building to the left and break the jug on the table with a stone. Take the knife. Hold the Spacebar on your PC to combine the knife and stone. This way you will sharpen it.
How to find a plunger and a key to the second-floor door
Now use a knife to cut the rope on the well and take the bucket. Use it on the small flooded depression to the right of the gate. Now you can turn on the water (will be needed later).
The bucket can be thrown away; it will no longer be needed. To the left of the front door, there is a window into the restroom on the first floor. However, it is impossible to get here without a board. Return to the guest house and break the window to the left of the entrance. Use the second stone to knock down the board supporting the door. If you fail to do this the first time, simply repeat the action.
The door to the guest house is locked, so you can return here through the basement. Having picked up the board, place it under the window. Now climb into the bathroom and find the plunger.
By the way, you can also pick up a board. You'll need it very soon. Use the plunger on the kitchen sink and take the key to the door on the left on the second floor. The plunger can be thrown away.
How to get a nail puller
Attentive players noticed that in the basement there was a briefcase wrapped in tape. Since you've already got a sharp knife, it's time to go back and open it. You could even do this on the way to the board at the guest house.
How to find the locker password
Go up to the second floor, open the door, then use the nail puller on the boards. There is no point in examining the lockers because it is empty. You need to go out onto the balcony and climb onto the roof through the hole in the railing.
Now follow the ledge to the opposite side of the building and try not to fall down. On the right on the balcony, take the handle from the shovel, and then throw the board to the other side to get over.
Throw any object at the office window and pick up the binoculars. You can return the same way or open the door - it doesn't matter. You need to get into the bathroom on the second floor. It is located to the right of the office door. Turn on the water, enter the cabin, and look through binoculars ( E key on PC).
Why is this necessary? To find out the code for the locker in the second-floor hallway. He is pictured on the TV in the neighboring house. You can spy on it in the bathroom where you just cleaned your binoculars. Note that in each new game, the combination will be random, so there is no point in indicating a specific one.
How to find a shovel
You already have the first part of the shovel - you could find it on the second-floor balcony (described in the previous section). The second part will become available when you clear the binoculars and find out the code to the locker. There will be a bayonet inside.
How to find wire cutters
Combine both parts of the shovel and run to the guest house. Behind him, there is a pile of earth where he will have to dig. This way you will get a heavy doll.
Return to the house and look for a fireplace on the ground floor in the living room. Throw the doll here and wait for the fabric to burn. Take the wire cutters.
How to open a garage door and find a master key
Exit the house through the back door and use the wire cutters on the grate. You will be able to throw an item at the red button. Be careful, because when the gate opens, the enemy will also come. There will be a master key on the workbench.
It needs to be used on the desk drawer in the office on the second floor. This will give you the key to the last locked door in the house.
How to find the safe code
The code for the safe is written on the board; just flip the image over. It is unchanged for any passage - “07734”. Take the key to the gate, open the lock, and get out.
How to get an alternate ending
At the end, you will see an inscription that you managed to escape from the Joker, but this did not solve the problem. However, there are currently no alternate endings in the game. Perhaps the developer will add them with future updates, and we will also find out who is hidden in the locked room of the guest house.
