Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit Complete Walkthrough - How to Fix All Slot Machines, Unlock Achievements, and Get the Best Ending
The new game Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit has moved away from the canon of following cameras and has become a 2D walker. You play as a sixth-grader Oswald, who jumped into a pool with plastic balls and found himself in the past. In this guide, we will tell you how to survive five nights, save your father, unlock all the machines, and get the best ending. We will also note difficult achievements and clarify how much time is needed to complete the game.
Prologue
We are introduced to the characters: schoolboy Oswald and his father. They are heading to the pizzeria, where the main plot will take place. After all the dialogues are over and Oswald gets up from the table, move to the right. The desired door to the ball pit will be near the stage. Go to the "Do not use" sign and jump in.
Once at the party (in the past), return to the cafe hall and move left until you meet the guys in yellow and blue caps. They will introduce themselves to Oswald and offer to play slot machines. Move left, and in the new area, go through the upper door. You can remember how Mike plays and try to beat him, but this will not affect the plot.
Back at the cafe, you'll be offered a game of hide and seek. You need to get to the storeroom through the arcade. Get into the Freddy suit and watch the cutscene. When the animatronic starts looking into the suit, hold the action button to hold your breath.
Find Chip and Mike by reaching the cafe hall, passing by the running children. Near the place where you first met them, there will be a half-open door. Entering it, a cutscene will begin. Follow the corridor to the left door. Fight off the rabbit and return to the pool with balls. On the other side, Oswald's father and Jeff will already be waiting. A cutscene will begin in which you need to quickly press the action button to pull your father out of the pool.
Night 1
Once in your room, exit it and go into the master bedroom. To get the phone, you need to distract the creature by making noise in another room. Go down to the kitchen, then turn into the basement, where you can pick up a rope , which will come in handy on the second night, and a counterweight device to repair the slot machine. Turn on the blender and make a detour through the living room and hall to safely reach the phone. After picking it up, you need to dial the number indicated on the sticker on the refrigerator. If the animatronic goes to the bedroom, wait under the bed. To figure out where the monster is, go to the door. If you hear footsteps, it is walking in the next room. When the footsteps die down or the door creaks, you can go in. We select the number, then open the phone through the inventory. Enter the numbers 555-5683 and wait.
After the screamer, stand in the center of the room and wait for the rabbit. Depending on which door he appears from, run either to the living room under the dining table or to the hall in the closet. When the front door opens and it becomes safe, you can run to the hall.
A new objective will open - you need to return to the pizzeria. You can immediately run into the hall, ignoring the monster. Talk to Jeff, then go to the room with the teleport. Go backstage to pick up the father's wallet and move around the cafe hall until you find the child. If you leave the cafe, you will get the first ending and the achievement "See you later, Dad" .
The key can be found in the present by talking to Jeff. Pick up the trash bag in the center of the room and head to the factory. In the junkyard, you can find a battery and a mousetrap . When you approach the large pile, select the trash bag from the pop-up menu to complete the quest. Jeff will give you the key to the basement, but in the present, all the tools are rusty.
We go back in time and pick up the green screwdriver on the wall behind the bear. With this tool, you can save the child. This is where the activities for the first night end, it remains to return to the pool.
Night 2
After waking up in the morning, go to the kitchen to talk to your mother. When you reach the hall, you will need to return to the kitchen for a bag of breakfast. The first day at school will be introductory, just follow the story. After school, Oswald will meet Gabriella, who will give him a book describing the animatronics. Reach the edge of the location and send him home.
The front door is now locked, so to get out of the house you need to go up to the attic by opening the ladder in "Hall 1". Place the ladder close to the window and use the rope to escape. Head to the pizzeria and jump into the pool to continue your search. When the fuses are blown, visit the backstage and pull the lever.
Return to the hall and hide under the table, because the rabbit will come running to the noise. When it leaves, go into the party hall. You can catch the running rat by setting a mousetrap and coming here next time. Open the door to the kitchen to continue the story. After the cutscene, a rabbit will come running, blocking the exit. The easiest way is to activate the device on the table near the bars and hide behind it.
Before the mousetrap goes off, run to the entrance to unlock the grate and use this shortcut later. You can use it right away to find yourself in the pantry, from where you can go down to the trapped mouse. The fuses will be knocked out again, and the animatronic will come out of the backstage. Hide under the table or take him to the grates to go around. You can restore power and return to the present time.
To the left of Jeff, there is a girl sitting and talking on the phone. By releasing a mouse near her, you can open access to the kitchen, where there is a slice of pizza. This slice needs to be taken to the party hall in the past, where the bird collects all the trash. Hide under the right table and wait until the animatronic turns away. You can go into the kitchen.
The phone will ring, answering which will unlock the achievement "Hello? Hello? Hello?" The child is hidden in the right cabinet, under the sink. Mike will be waiting for you at the exit. After the dialogue, fight off the animatronic and run to the pool to complete the level.
Night 3
The new day will begin with a search for Mom, who is in the kitchen. After the dialogue, you can go to school. In the middle of the school day, the teacher will ask you to go to the headmistress. Talk to her to get the task of finding the keys that are in the second grade. After returning the keys, you can visit the headmistress's room to pick up the book and the stretchy hand.
After the call, head home. To get out, you need to go up to the attic, pick up the ladder and carry it to the basement. The ladder is noisy, so you may need to stop a few times to avoid the animatronic. We managed to distract him with a blender in the kitchen, and then safely walk with the ladder through the living room and kitchen.
Jump into the pool, then visit the kitchen. There will be a photo of Oswald's family by the stove and you can listen to the phone call again.
Note: Now there will be two animatronics at the location at once. However, the bird (Chica) will not attack, but only make a loud noise to attract the second monster.
Once in the party hall, use the stretchy arm to open the grate and get the key to the arcade. Get rid of the pursuer, you can pick up the key later. Go up to the storage room, where there will be another photo near the gifts on the left. Once in the arcade, move left until you are noticed by a new animatronic. You need to distract him by fixing the electric guitar.
Examine it backstage, then return to the present and visit the factory. In the pile on the right, you can find a guitar string, but Oswald's classmate will notice. After the cutscene, return to the past and insert new strings. Now you need to tune the electric guitar by connecting it to the amplifier and pressing the correct pop-up buttons.
An animatronic will come running, from which you can hide in the ventilation in the basement. Quickly press the action button to free yourself and get out in the party hall. In the cafe hall, go to the left door, near which there will be a ticket counting device . You will need it to restore the machine in the present.
Go back to the arcade machines and save Chip. After that, you need to immediately run to the pool with balls and complete the level.
Night 4
You can go straight to school. There will be a cutscene and Oswald will run off to the pizzeria. Before going to the pool, go to the arcade. Fix the machines if you found the appropriate parts and earn 20 tickets by playing. Exchange them in the machine in the left corner for a coupon. This coupon can be exchanged for a rare console, which you need to give to the guy in the library for a pack of firecrackers.
The next child will be hidden in the security room. There will be a father's badge near the door , in the lower right corner. After opening the door, a bear will come out, which Oswald will automatically stun with a firecracker and run inside. Answer the phone call, pick up the ring near the girl, then start a dialogue. She will ask to look into the cameras. There will be an animatronic on CAM4, which will jump on the camera and break it.
The girl still doesn't want to go, so you need to distract the animatronics first. The easiest way would be to go into the arcade and turn on the green arcade, then return to the girl.
You need to look at the cameras again, this time in CAM3, to see the rabbit take the hostage to the kitchen. Once you get there, examine the refrigerator and return to the playroom. You need the hammer, near which the boy was tied earlier. Pick it up and break the refrigerator handle. An animatronic will fly into the room and grab Oswald, quickly press the action button, then run into the pool with balls.
Night 5
Waking up in your room, you can safely leave the house through the main entrance. Once you reach the pizzeria, explore the security room and take the room key from Jeff. An animatronic will fly out from the hall with machine guns, from which you will have to escape into the past. Hide in any convenient place, but the best is behind the bars in the party hall.
There's one last closed party room left. To open it, use the ventilation and get to the backstage. There will be a bunch of animatronic parts here, one of which contains the key to open the locked door.
Free the girl. If you have collected all 5 of her father's items and earned the "High Five!" achievement , a secret photo will appear near the ventilation. Use the ventilation in this room. You will find yourself in a new room where Oswald's father has been hidden all this time. Untie him and hide behind the bars. The animatronic will drag him into the pool room, where a fight will begin. Depending on how you complete the QTE, there will be several endings, which we will discuss below.
How to get all endings and which is the best one
The game has several endings:
- On the first night, you can leave the cafe and abandon the search for your father. This is the fastest way to complete the game, although you will lose most of the story;
- Bad Ending - If you fail to fight off the animatronic at the ball pit, Oswald will become part of them;
- Normal Ending - Fight off the animatronic and help your father get out of the pool. Then, instead of him, the animatronic will grab Oswald, this will end the game;
- Best (secret) ending - Find all five of Dad's items (two photos, badge, ring, wallet). Then, after saving the last girl, you'll find a special photo. In the final battle, fight off the animatronic and jump into the pool. The rabbit will see the photo and freak out, causing him to get tangled in the ropes and let go of Oswald and Dad.
How to get the special ending and complete the game with three stars
- Fix and complete all the arcade machines in one playthrough. After doing this, Jeff will give you a pizza coupon and you will receive the "Not a Gamer" achievement if you haven't done it yet;
- Find all of Oswald's things. We wrote about their location in more detail above;
- Complete three secret mini-games. For the first one, get four coupons from the slot machines. One of them must be used in the past. The second one is to interact with the candy machine in the cafe several times (in the past). The third one is to call Mom again after getting the key card to the party room (555-5683)
- Pick up the secret photo after talking to the girl on the fifth night;
- Call the secret number. After completing three mini-games, dial 777-4648.
Where to find all the parts for slot machines
- Counterweight Device - Visit the basement of your home. It will be near the washing machine;
- Space Columns - In the arcade (present day). On the right side of the room;
- Space Gun - In the storage room (to the right of the room with machine guns) you can pick up a new item;
- Control Panel - In the party hall. The panel is on the purple table;
- Power Supply - On the right side of the room, in the urn, there will be another part for repairing the slot machine;
- Wooden Balls - Having traveled to the past, you can pick up a pyramid of wooden balls in the room with the pool;

How to get all achievements
- Fun with Freddy - Can be done on Night 4. Freddy will peek out of random doors, just open it;
- Twist and Twirl, Bonnie - This animatronic hides under the tables, just get caught by it. The easiest place to find it is in the cafe hall;
- Baby - Trip 100 times. The longer you run, the higher the chance of falling. Repeat the required number of times;
- Who will you call? - Dial 911 on your phone;
- What am I? - Get the bad ending;
- Fast Carbs - Press the candy machine located in the back of the cafe hall 10 times;
- Family Evening - You need to get the special ending we wrote about above.
