How to Find All Artifacts in Black Myth: Wukong

Artifacts (Vessels) in Black Myth: Wukong are unique equipment that offer both passive and active abilities when equipped. They are quite powerful and should be used when facing bosses or when you are in a tight spot during combat. These artifacts are also rare, so you will have to put in a lot of effort to find them.

A passive ability will typically provide an overall stat boost, while an active ability can be activated to provide a much stronger buff that can change the course of a fight.

There are 4 artifacts in Black Myth: Wukong. Finding all artifact locations unlocks the Treasure Trove achievement.

You can fast travel between chapters at any time. After the story, you can still explore locations freely. After the final boss, you are taken back to the title screen, select Continue here and you will be transported to the final boss. You can still revisit all locations from this point. Just don’t press Enter a New Cycle on the title screen, as this will start New Game+ and overwrite your save with no way to go back.

How to use artifacts

Once you have unlocked an artifact, you can use it by pressing RT or R2 and the left stick. Before you can do this, you will have to select the artifact from the menu. To do this, open your inventory, then check the slot next to the spirits and your equipment. This is your artifact slot. Once selected, build up your Qi resource as usual: either by resting or by fighting enemies and building it up. You can then activate the artifact.

The Chapter 2 artifact is great for countering Dust Storms. This is important, as one of the main mechanics of the final fight in Chapter 2 relies on tornadoes to control you. This is incredibly effective at countering the second and third phases of Yellow Wind Sage, making the tough enemy much easier to deal with. The Chapter 1 artifact also provides a reduction in fire resistance, which counters many of the attacks of the final boss of the same area.

Fireproof Mantle

  • Active Effect: Grants immunity to burns for a short time after activation and gradually increases focus. Effective in certain environments and against certain enemies;

Defeat him to receive the Wind Tamer.

When the path forks, go left until you see a cutscene with the Taoist of Poison (you must have defeated him in the first area). In this fight, he has two phases, each with a full health bar. After the fight, interact with the wall in front of you to enter the secret area "Purple Cloud Mountain".
