Fighting Mortal Kombat 11 , which is the latest part of the famous franchise, continues to enjoy high popularity among the community, as evidenced by its sales.
As reported on their official Twitter page "Ed Boon". Its been one and a half years that have passed since its release, and the game has more than eight million copies sold. At the same time, according to the creative director of the NetherRealm studio, the development team does not intend to stop supporting their offspring and in the coming days the community will be presented with further plans of the team for the development of the project.

Details have not yet been reported, however, most likely, the creators will present a new set with fighters and, possibly, a version of Mortal Kombat 11 for next generation consoles.
