Diablo 3 Class Guides: The 3 Best Builds in Season 22

Which classes are best? These top three class builds should dominate the leaderboards in Season 22 of Diablo 3.

With the start of the new season in Diablo 3 , the question of the best builds arises again . Patch 2.6.10 has been tried out on the test servers for some time. On November 20, 2020, the new season will start with a new update and season theme on the official servers.

This time it's all about the so-called shadow clones and you get another item slot for Kanai's cube. You can find all details about the new season in our overview:

Especially the new item in Kanai's cube is causing some movement in the experts' animal lists. After all, so far unused combinations are possible. But the buffs and debuffs of the classes also affect the rankings.

We looked at which builds and which classes have the best chance of quick success in Season 22 of Diablo 3. To do this, we rely on the analyzes of various Diablo experts.

PTR experiences: The assessments of the experts are based on their experiences and the ranking successes on the test server. It is not unlikely that other builds will emerge this season that no one had on the screen before.

1st place: the necromancer (bone spear)

There is no doubt that Season 22 of Diablo 3 will be dominated by the Necromancer. Shouldn't Blizzard release a Nerf this season. The class benefits from two major innovations, with which the bone spear in particular becomes a grotesquely powerful weapon in combination with the carnival set. The necromancer now has "Gelmindor's Mark Protector" as a new item. This increases the potential damage to the bone spears by 300 to 400 percent.

At the same time, the necromancer takes up the new season theme excellently. And explicitly thanks to the fourth slot in Kanai's cube. Many Nekro-Builds benefit here, for example, from "Reilena's shadow hook", which brings with it an immense damage multiplier.

That makes many Nekro builds powerful in Season 22. But bone spears in combination with the 10,000 percent bonus from "Masquerade of the Burning Carnival" will most likely overshadow everything. Especially since you get the set this season for the end of the season trip.

2nd place: The Demon Hunter (Gear of Terror)

The so-called GoD demon hunter was a product of the new set that was introduced in Season 21. With the help of the four-part bonus of "Gear of Terror" the demon hunter becomes a whirling all-rounder. The hunter worked his way up the rankings with this set last season and many actually expected that Blizzard would react with a nerf in season 22. Thought wrong!

The Nerf stayed out and so the GoD Demon Hunter remains one of the strongest class builds in the entire game. Thanks to the fourth slot in Kunai's cube, the demon hunter becomes even more powerful. Little has changed in terms of the basic play style and equipment. The heart of the build remains Barrage and Hungry Arrow.

In this way, the hunter does enormous damage while simultaneously moving through the enemy. The movement can be accelerated up to 160 percent thanks to the two-part set bonus, which makes the Demon Hunter a real rocket. As with the Nekro, you can also bag the new set in full immediately after the season trip is over.

3rd place: the crusader (bombardment)

Due to the new season theme with the fourth slot for Kanai's dice, the third place in the best classes is highly competitive. After all, there are a ton of classes that could end up here with a very good build. In the end, however, we decided on the bombardment crusader.

The build also benefited from the new buffs that the 2.6.10 update brought with it. The "Belt of the Secret Treasure" now has a reduced cooldown for its Bormbardement spam and the set bonus for "Akkhan's Armor" and "Norval's Furious Zeal" has been increased.

On the test server, these and more changes made for a simply overpowering crusader who shot through 150 portals practically half asleep. But here Blizzard reacted and put in a nerf again before the release. This sinks the crusader to a much lower power level. Nevertheless, the bombing skill with the Akkhan set remains a monster, especially when it comes to huge damage over a large area.

With these three builds you should definitely cut a brilliant figure in Season 22. If you prefer to play a different class, however, you also have a very good selection with strong combinations.
