Cyberpunk 2077 - Detailed description of perks, characteristics and skills

Literally in a couple of days, on December 10, Cyberpunk 2077 will be released, which CD Project Red has been developing for 7 years. Unfortunately, due to the mistake of the American store Best Buy, the collectible editions of the console version fell into the hands of players last week, as a result of which various spoilers of the gameplay appeared. Based on them, in this article you will find a detailed description of all perks, characteristics and skills.

Skills

The skill of handling one or another type of weapon or a skill in a particular area. Increases as appropriate actions are taken. For example, the skill of a weapon increases as you use it, and crafting increases as you create various items. Each skill contains 20 levels, the current level can be viewed in the corresponding category of perks.

When you level up, you will receive 1 percpoint or a certain passive boost associated with the mastery line (for example, increase your maximum stamina). I don’t consider it necessary to compile a detailed list of rewards for leveling up, but it’s already clear that this is a good source of perkpoints, in addition to leveling up and possibly completing quests (alas, I didn’t find accurate information on this).

Characteristics

The main indicators of the character, affecting various aspects of the gameplay and the availability of certain systems. They are enhanced by distributing skill points, which are given at the final stage of character creation and when leveling up. The characteristics can be pumped up to a maximum of level 20 and most likely you can only fully pump 3 options to the level cap.

  • Body (body) - determines the indicator of the physical strength of the character. Each level (starting from the third) adds 5 points of health, 5 points of stamina, increases damage with bare hands and the cybernetic implant “Gorilla Arms” by 3, increases damage with melee weapons by 1.5%, reduces the movement speed penalty when a captured enemy or heavy weapon is 6%, increases movement speed when capturing an enemy and the time for capturing an enemy by 5 seconds. Also allows you to force open locked doors.
  • Reflexes (reflexes) - determine the character's agility and increase overall speed. Each level increases by 1% the passive chance to evade enemy attacks, the chance of critical damage by 1%, the damage from the cybernetic implant “Mantis Blade” (blades in hand) by 3.
  • Technical ability (technique) - allows you to open locked doors, use technological weapons. Each level increases the character's armor by 5%.
  • Intelligence - defines the skill in the field of "Netrunning". Each level increases the capacity of the RAM board by 4%, increases the damage of fast hacking by 0.5% and its duration by 1%.
  • Cool (composure) - each level increases critical damage by 2%, all resistance by 1%, hidden damage by 10%, manoware damage by 3. Also, by 0.5% reduces the speed at which opponents notice the character in a state of stealth.

Perks

Each category of perks is aimed at enhancing a weapon or a specific type of activity. For example, the “Assault” tree mainly empowers SMGs and Rifles. For this reason, when describing perks, I decided not to mention every time that the effects of this perk work for X weapons or type of activity. Instead, if necessary, the direction of the branch is indicated in the description.

Since many perks in the game can be pumped several times, the perk effects below correspond to the base level 0 option. The last perk in each category becomes available only after reaching level 20 of the corresponding skill and, apparently, it has no pumping framework (at least it is not indicated in the interface).
