LoL Wild Rift: How to Unlock Champions for Free and All Methods

 We show you the methods that exist in LoL Wild Rift to unlock free champions and how to get all the characters you want as quickly as possible.

In League of Legends: Wild Rift all players start from scratch , even if we use the same Riot account as in the classic PC title. That means that, whether we like it or not, from the first bars we will hardly have champions available to play our games in the Rift. However, there is no need to worry, because unlocking characters in Wild Rift is quite simple, especially at the beginning. So that you have no doubts, in this section of our guide we teach you the methods to get champions .

How to unlock free champions in Wild Rift

Since its launch there are more than 40 champions available in Wild Rift, but none of them are within our reach unless we play games, of course. The free to play mobile title rewards a lot that we dedicate hours to it and to encourage us to do so it rewards us with the free unlock of several champions from the beginning of the game.

Thus, there are several characters that can be obtained totally free thanks to the leveling of our account. In fact, after completing the initial tutorial we will be able to choose one of five champions: Ahri, Blitzcrank, Garen, Jinx or Master Yi.

You really don't have to dwell on this choice about which one to choose first because all the rest you will get right away. And it is that in the first 10 levels of our account we will unlock several champions as a reward.

These are the champions that are unlocked for free in the first 10 levels of LoL Wild Rift:

After reaching level 10, the rest of the levels will no longer reward free champions, but there are still methods to get more, so we review them below.

Get free champions with Blue Motes

The blue speckles are a totally free currency we can get in several ways, primarily playing (see our Guide section to learn more). Absolutely all the champions in the game can be bought with blue motes , so if we spend a few hours, we will end up accumulating enough quantities to get our favorite champion.

• Champions are generally priced at 5,500 Blue Motes .
• The price of the champions can vary over time, either with temporary offers or because the champion has spent a lot of time available in the store.

Get free champions at events

Another way to unlock free champions in Wild Rift is by paying attention to the temporary events that Riot Games adds to the title. Often times these events contain among their rewards the obtaining of a champion.

• Pay attention to temporary events that appear in the game.
• Complete the missions, challenges and phases of the events to receive all the rewards (and win a new champion if necessary).

Get free champions in Selection Chests

Champion Selection Chests are also another chance to grab new champions we don't have yet. These chests are obtained as special rewards for certain milestones, such as completing in-game tutorials, completing missions, overcoming event challenges, and so on ...

• If you have one of these chests you can open it to choose the champion you want from the list of available.
• Remember not to choose a champion that you already have unlocked (since in that case you receive 2,750 blue motes and lose the opportunity to get one that you do not have yet).

Get champions by paying Wild Cores

Finally we want to mention the payment method to unlock champions. Of course, in a game of this style it is also possible to spend real money to immediately obtain a champion that we like. This is done by exchanging Wild Cores in the shop , which are Wild Rift's paid currency (similar to PC RPs).

• The champions cost 725 wild cores (which would be equivalent to approximately 7.50 euros).
• Remember that the price in this currency may vary due to special offers or sales or because the champion has been available for a long time in the store.
