In the new major update of Stardew Valley, number 1.5, the developers not only fixed technical errors, but also added a lot of exciting content, including not only fresh heroes, items and some gameplay mechanics. The main focus of the improvement was on the beach theme. The game introduced a cooperative split-screen mode and work was done to adjust the balance and economy. This is not the end of all the innovations, as new tasks and puzzles have appeared on the farm. Some players have encountered problems completing the mermaid puzzle on the Ginger Island, so below we will tell you more about the correct solution for this task.

To begin with, we get a recipe for flute blocks from Robin with six hearts. To craft five items, you need to collect the following resources: 50 wood, 10 copper ore and 100 fibers.

We wait for the rainy weather and go to the mermaid on the right side of the beach to the melody icon, which will not react to the appearance of the main character.

Create the five required blocks and place them over the stones. At the next stage, the player needs to alternately press the musical buttons:

1. 2 clicks on the first block.
2. 11 clicks on the second block.
3. 9 clicks on the third block.
4. 5 clicks of the fourth block.
5. 7 clicks of the fifth block.

After using the musical composition, we move a couple of steps to the left of the flute-blocks and again we pass them from above from the first button to the last. If all the actions are performed correctly, the mermaid will smile at the hero and wave her hand, and the player will receive five golden walnuts as a reward.
