How to manage a Mech in the Dyson Sphere Program. How to collect resources with a mech and where to find energy for a mech core

The Dyson Sphere Program is a strategy dedicated to space exploration. The game is currently in Early Access. In it, during the colonization of new planets for exploration and extraction of resources, you will use heavy mechs. In this guide, we'll show you how to use them.

Fur control

You can control the mecha (mecha) using the W, A, S, D keys. You can also right-click targets. Space will command the mech to jump. If the mech meets a water obstacle on its way, it goes into a drift state in order to overcome it. During this time, more energy is spent than during movement on land.

After unlocking the Drive Engine Level 1, you will be able to fly. Press Space twice to take off and use the W, A, S, D keys to fly at low altitude. The speed will be 1.5 times faster than when moving on the ground, but energy consumption will also increase. During flight, press Space to gain altitude and Alt to descend or land altogether. When you unlock the Drive Engine Level 2, you can hover sail. To do this, during flight, press the up arrow and the space bar.

Collecting resources

With the right mouse button, you can order the mech to move to the specified point. If there is a deposit, the robot will start collecting resources. If you want to set a series of commands, hold Shift and select targets with the right mouse button. This way you can make, for example, the fur move from one source of ore to another or return to the target after the completion of mining.

Fur core energy

Mecha uses core energy when it moves, gathers resources, builds, makes copies of items and uses the laboratory to research technology. If the mech does not have enough energy, then its actions will be limited. For example, he will move more slowly and will not be able to conduct research. Therefore, you must monitor the energy level of your mech. Its value can be seen at the bottom of the screen.

When it runs out, click on the mech control panel (key C) in the lower right corner of the screen and replenish the fuel supply. The transformation of fuel into core energy occurs in the fuel chamber. The more its power, the higher the rate of energy recovery. Early in the game, collecting trees and plants can provide you with two types of fuel: logs and plants. Coal is also a great fuel.

High-quality fuel contains more energy than low-quality fuel and is more quickly converted into core energy. As your fuel chamber develops, the mech core will also generate a little bit of energy.
