At the BlizzCon digital event , Blizzard announced a remaster of Diablo 2 , released in 2000, called Diablo 2: Resurrected . System requirements for PC and first screenshots have been published.

Diablo 2 Resurrected will be a faithful remaster of Diablo 2 and its Lord of Destruction expansion.
The new Diablo 2 Resurrected graphics with fully 3D models can be rendered at up to 4K resolution and performance at 60 frames per second, but players can also revert to the original "nostalgic" graphics. Blizzard is also promising 7.1 Dolby Surround support and 27 minutes of updated cutscenes for Resurrected.
Diablo 2 Resurrected will be released later this year for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. PC tech alpha is coming soon.
