Fortnite starts a cool film festival for you - so you are there

 In Fortnite a movie night will soon be held in which some mini-films. We'll show you all the information about it and how you can be at the festival.

What kind of festival is it? The "Short Nite" is a film festival where players from all over the world gather in front of the screen in Fortnite: Party Royale and watch a few special short films together - including those that have won an Oscar.

So if you want to meet up with your friends virtually and enjoy a movie night, Short Nite gives you the chance. It's not the first time Fortnite has shown a movie in Party Royale .

When does the movie night take place? Short Nite will start at 8:00 p.m. on February 20th and will run through February 21st 8:00 p.m. The first broadcast of the entire short film takes about 30 minutes (until 8:30 p.m.) and is then repeated for 24 hours.

So you can decide for yourself when you want to watch the short films and do not need an “entry” that would limit the number of participants.

Where does the movie night take place? The film festival will take place in the special "Party Royale" mode on the big screen. There is no fighting on this map and therefore it is particularly suitable for such events.

So that you can be there, you just start Fortnite normally and then select the Party Royale mode in the game modes. If you want to experience the movie evening with friends, you should invite them to your lobby beforehand so that you can start the round together.

Fortnite will also bring a new emote that should put you in the feeling of a movie night. From February 20th at 1:00 am, “Giant Popcorn” will be available in the item shop. During this "dance" your character sits down on a chair and eagerly eats popcorn from a huge cup.
