How to get a lot of bones in Valheim. Where can I find skeletons?

Game world Valheim is inhabited by various monsters, among which there are skeletons and draugrs. From them you can get Bone fragments, which are needed to craft various equipment. Let's figure out where to find skeletons and draugrs to get bone fragments.


Skeletons

There are two types of skeletons in Valheim:

Skeleton is a hostile undead made of bones. Skeletons can use different types of weapons, but most often they are sword (sword), shield (shield) and bow (bow). Skeletons can drop the Skeleton Trophy and Bone fragments. They have a weakness for Blunt and resistance to Pierce weapons.


Rancid Skeleton or Rancid Remains are hostile undead. They look slightly larger than the normal skeleton and have a greenish tint. Rotten Skeletons use green-glowing weapons.


Rotten Skeletons provide the Skeleton Trophy and Bone Fragments. They have a weakness for Blunt and resistance to Pierce weapons.


Draugry

Also, Bone fragments can be obtained from places guarded by Draugr and Draugr Elite. Draugr is a hostile undead that lives on graves, often guarding treasures that are buried with them in the mound. From the Draugr themselves, you can obtain the Draugr trophy and Entrails.

Where to find skeletons and draugr

Skeletons can be found in various places throughout the game, especially in Swamps and Black Forest . They guard various ruins and burial chambers.

Rotten skeletons can be found in Burial Chambers, underground structures found in Meadows and Black Forests.

Draugras are some of the most dangerous creatures in Valheim. You can find them in the Swamp biome, protecting abandoned outposts, tombs and ruins. They are hostile towards Greydwarfs and attack them, but may not pay attention to Deers or Surtlings.

Where to find skeletons and draugr

Burial Chambers are dungeons found in Meadows and Black Forest. You will definitely be exploring these dungeons early on in the game as they contain Surtling Cores.

These burials consist of many rooms connected by corridors. Some rooms have altars on which various gems lie, as well as surfling cores. Other rooms contain chests and Evil Bone Piles. Yellow Mushrooms grow in all rooms and corridors.

The Abandoned outpost can be found in the Black Forest biome, usually located near the coast. There can be a Barrel and a Chair near the entrance. There is usually a Chest inside with random loot. The abandoned outpost is often surrounded by greydwarves.

Ruins are the remains of a stone house with a green torch on top and a chest with random loot inside. Found in the Black Forest biome, usually located off the coast. Most often they are guarded by draugrs.

Tomb are dungeons found in the Black Forest biome. The inside of the tomb is decorated with red banners, cages and iron torches. They contain two chests with random loot. The entrance to a tomb is usually guarded by two or more skeletons. There are also skeletal opponents inside.

What are bone fragments for?


Bone fragments are used to craft troll skin armor. A full set of 4 items will make the hero inconspicuous by 25%. Three pieces of bone are needed for a troll-skin helmet and ten more for a troll-skin cloak.

Also, five bone fragments can be spent on a deer skin cloak. The fragments are also needed to improve some types of armor.
