To restore the shattered golden buckle, the Storyteller will ask you to bring him 5 vials of magic essence. We will tell you where to find them.
Vials of magic essence are labeled in the inventory simply as "Magic Essence" and look like a regular wooden box. You can find one of these at different locations:
- In the Labyrinth. If you have already left it, you will not be able to go back.
- Another essence is hidden in the Estrod tower (quest "Scouts in our ranks").
- Another can be found in the Gwerm mansion (quest "Gwerm Family Secrets"). Climb to the second floor and search the chest in the room to the left.
- Finally, during the assault on the Gray Garrison ("City on Fire" quest), look for the essence on the second floor, in a room with a hole in the floor. It takes mobility to get over the hole.
- In the same Gray garrison, as soon as you go down from the balcony, from where you will watch the cutscene (how Irabet fights demons, and then a demoness appears, kidnapping Staunton), go to the rooms on the right (not through the door with the blue emblem). In one of them there is a pile of stones against the wall. If you have a character with good attentiveness, you will notice loot there.
- You will find another one in the market square. In the area of the log, along which you can go through the fault.
- Also on the global map, when you move up, after the destruction of the first army of demons, turn right to find the Nightingale Grove. Defeat the marauders at the location and search all the boxes. One of them will contain magical essence!
