Rumors have been circulating since 2018 that Nintendo is going to modernize The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for its hybrid console, and in August 2020, a re-release page was discovered on the Amazon UK online store website.
As it became known, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will go on sale on July 16 this year, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders have already started in Nintendo eShop - the game costs 4499 rubles.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD promises two control options. The first one is familiar from the Nintendo Wii. In this case, the left Joy-Con will act as a shield, and the right one will act as a sword.
The second option is a button layout (for Nintendo Switch Lite). In this mode, to strike with the sword, you need to deflect the right stick in the required direction.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and its remaster tell the story leading up to the main events of the series: Link will have to descend from the world beyond the clouds to find his childhood friend Zelda.
The original The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was released in December 2011 (Russian release) on the Nintendo Wii. The game received high praise from journalists - the average project rating on Metacritic is 93 out of 100%.
