The release of the remake of Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time postponed indefinitely

 

Publisher Ubisoft and developers Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai have announced that a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has been postponed again, this time without a clear release date. The game will be available someday for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, Uplay).

The developers of the remake posted a statement on Twitter, in which they explained that “ have made the decision to postpone the release of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake to a later date. This additional development time will allow the teams to release a decent remake that feels fresh while remaining true to the original . "

The remake was scheduled to be released on March 18th.

Ubisoft first announced the Sands of Time remake at its Ubisoft Forward event in September, confirming that it will use the Anvil engine . In December, Ubisoft announced the postponement of the remake from January to March.
