Little Nightmares 2 is a sequel to the dark platformer in which you play as the boy Mono and travel through a deformed world. As you progress, you will meet the heroine of the first part of the game - the Sixth, in order to overcome the difficulties that stand in your way together. In this guide, you will find how to walk through five levels and solve all the puzzles in the game.


Level 1: How to get through the traps under the foliage

Run forward along the road and jump over the cliff. After reaching the locked grill, press the corresponding button on the gamepad ( R1 ) or on the keyboard ( LMB ). Walk down the pipe, then climb the ledge. To grab the edges, also use the previously indicated keys. We recommend that you take with you one of the boots that are scattered across the level. It will come in handy to neutralize the tree trap. With a boot in hand, the character cannot jump or climb. To bring the boot to a high surface, simply throw it towards the ledge.

Throw the boot in a stretch to defuse the trap. Walk forward a little more. You will see a box here. Push it down and move it closer to the edge of the ledge to climb up. When you make your way under the rubble, get ready to run. At this moment, a large log will roll on your hero. Use acceleration to get away from it.

Next, you will need to climb the ledge on the left, and then jump over to the ledge on the right. This can be done in several ways:


  1. Climb the rotten tree to the ledge on the left, run up and grab the rope between the ledges. Swing to reach the ledge on the right.
  2. Climb the tree up, then jump onto the same tree from above and from it jump onto the ledge to the left.

Use the lever and lower the drawer. So you can go further. In front of you is a large cliff with a broken bridge, but here you will also find a place to descend. Examine the near part of the broken bridge and go down. You can climb up the broken bridge using the R1 or LMB buttons .

Once on the other side of the bridge, you will see several boots lying on the ground. Take one of them and throw it in a stretch. This trap must be neutralized in any case, since a piece of wood tied to it will help you climb up. In the next clearing, you will see several open traps. Go around them and find a trap from which a stick sticks out. Take it, go to the open trap and hit. After going down the tree, also pick up the stick. Here is another clearing with traps that need to be neutralized. Unlike the previous ones, these traps are hidden under dense foliage. Strike the foliage in front of you with a stick to create a chain reaction and discharge multiple devices at once.

Further on, on a small island, you will find several cones. Use them in the same way as with a stick: throw them into the foliage, under which there are traps. Climb up the impromptu stairs and run forward. This will take you to the hunter's hut.


Level 1: How to Free a Trapped Child

You can get into the house through the window. Walk through the kitchen and enter the only door open here. Go down the stairs and look around the room on the right. Here you will find an ax. Pick it up and take it to the next room. Use it to break down the door and go to the child in the room.

Return to the first floor hallway. Walk past the kitchen door and turn right. If you examine the hallway on the left, you will find a hat . In the dining room, climb the cabinet on the left and go through the opening in the wall. The child will not be able to lower the ladder, help him. To do this, just go to the satellite, use the jump and grab the lever on the ceiling. You can also call a guy to you if necessary ( Q key or the " triangle " button on the gamepad).

Level 1: How to get to the attic and find the key

Climb into the attic. Move the suitcase with the help of your new companion and go to the cabinet on the left. Wait for the guy or call him to you. Climb onto the locker and go into the adjacent room on the left. Here you will see a woman's doll with a lever in her hands. Take the lever and go back. While your companion is lifting the bag, you must climb onto it, jump and catch the hook. The key will fall down, and you can return to the first floor and open the door.

Leave the house and go to the toilet. To open it, call your companion and open the latch. Inside, you will find chaotic remains . In the building on the right, move the box and climb out the window. You will find yourself in a room with a hunter. To the right of the door you will see a piece of wood that you can push out and get out. It is worth noting that this will attract the attention of the hunter.


Level 1: How to escape from the hunter (wasteland monster)

Once outside, you need to run and hide behind wooden crates. The hunter shoots at a specific interval. During its reloading, you need to have time to run to the next shelter. Otherwise, your hero will die. Hide under the roots of trees and wait for the hunter to move back to the clearing. Move in a squat. If a hunter points a flashlight at you, just stop and wait until he turns away.

When you get to the edge of the map, you will see a small hole in the ground. Jump into it and run to the right. After getting out, go to the bridge. One section of the bridge is lowered: pull on the rope and lift it up. Your companion will be able to move to the other side. Lower the rope, jump over the cliff and grab the child's hand.

Here you will see a large number of cells, as well as one hanging cell in the tree. Climb up the boxes and jump onto the large cage. Use the jump button to break the rope and pick up the hat .

After a short break, you will meet the hunter again. When you go down to the wooden box, at this moment the hunter will notice you from behind the flying raven. Take cover behind the box and wait for the shot, then run to the right and climb up. Walk across the top of the hangar to get out and fall into the swamp.


Level 1: How to knock down a tree in the swamps

You can hide from the hunter using the crouch key. It should be noted that you cannot hide for a long time. In a few seconds, the hero will emerge due to lack of oxygen. Make your way forward until you find yourself at a large hemp with a heart carved on it. Now you cannot move it. To do this, you will have to attract the attention of the hunter so that he will shoot several times at this tree.

It's quite simple: show yourself to the hunter and immediately hide behind the island. To lower the tree, we only had three shots. Next, you will again find yourself in a clearing with crows. If you immediately approach the birds, they will fly away, and the hunter will immediately shoot your hero. Proceed as follows:

  • Get closer to the water (bottom of the screen);
  • When the crows take off, run to the box;
  • Wait for the shot and run over to the next cover.

Enter the house, climb the box and grab the gun. It will fall to the ground. Wait for your character to rise and use the gun to fire a shot. Get out of the window, push the door into the water and go to the other side. When you dock, you can find the chaotic remains at the TV on the shore. Enter the building's only open door to proceed to the next level.


Level 2: How to get to school

Leave the room. On the street, find an open window into the cafe building. Find another window inside, ask a friend to help you climb up and stop. You will see two TVs in front of you. A rope is tied to one of them. Climb onto the TV on the left and grab the rope. Sway until the TV tied with a rope falls down. This will take you to the top floor. Examine the left side of the location. Find the same TV and throw it down. Now your friend can help you overcome the cliff between the stairs.

Going up to the top floor, you will see the first active TV that will interfere. Approach it, use the movement keys or the stick on the controller to adjust the transmission and get rid of interference.

Get out into the street. Move the trash can to enter the area in front of the school. At the trash can in the far right corner of the site, you will find chaotic remains . To get into the school, use the sheet hole to the right of the entrance.


Level 2: How to use the switch

Having penetrated the building, you will find yourself in a corridor with portraits. Finding a way out of here is easier than it might seem at first glance. If you activate the lever and turn off the light, you will see light entering through the hole in the portrait on the left. You just need to take one small item from the next room and throw it into this portrait. It will collapse to the floor, and you can go further.

In the room behind the portrait you will find a trapdoor. Together with your companion, you need to simultaneously bounce on it. By doing this, you will fall into the communications box. After getting out of it, open another hatch and follow along the corridor. It is worth noting that you will encounter traps further along your path. They are easy to find: pay attention to the planks in the floor. If one or more boards are slightly raised and stand out from the rest, then it is most likely a trap. As soon as you step on it, a bucket of rubbish or a school locker will fall from above.

Run all the way to the right and activate the trap in front of the toy on the floor. A cabinet will fall in front of you, through which you can climb and get into another corridor. Keep running to the right. At some point, an open locker will fall on your hero, and toy schoolchildren will take your companion away. Pick up the hammer, go to the toy and hit it. Now you can deal with toy schoolchildren in this way.

In the room to the right, you don't have to use the hammer, as there is a trap. Pick up a piece of paper and throw it towards the doll. The schoolboy will run at you, step on a piece of wood and die from a bucket falling on him.

Level 2: How to escape from the teacher (monster from the School)

Go to the next corridor. The third locker from the entrance can be opened and the chaotic remains can be picked up. Follow to the far room on the right. This is a school auditorium. Here you will meet the first boss (Teacher), from which you have to hide until the end of the level.

As long as the teacher has her back turned to you, she is not dangerous. Run behind the students into the room with documents and climb the locker on the right. It will fall and attract the teacher's attention. Until she appears here, hide in a box in the center of the room. Wait until she leaves the room, take the key and get out of here using the opening in the wall.

In the classroom, you can hide under desks. Track how the teacher moves and wait for her to come to the board. At this point, you can safely leave the audience, but do not use running, otherwise the students will notice you.

Return to the elevator and use the key. Climbing upstairs, you will find a student who is tied with a rope to the wall. Walk around him on the right side, then get his attention. You need to be at a distance so that he does not grab you. When the student again tries to come up to you and falls, take the pipe and hit him.

Use the same pipe to break the lower part of the door and climb into the ventilation pipe. After getting out of it, you will drop several bottles down, which will attract the teacher's attention. Hide in the far box. When you run along the beam to the right, drop the can. Now hide in the box on the right. Climb up the rope, lower the wooden plank and hide again.

In the library, move the ladder and climb onto the shelving. When you jump over to the next cabinet, the teacher will appear and start chasing you. Keep running forward, then jump onto the large pile of rope-tied books. Jumping over to the next, the same stack of books, you need to move left and right to hide from the teacher's head. When the teacher leaves and closes the door behind him, move the box in the left corner of the room to the door and open it.


Level 2: How to solve a chess puzzle

Climb the stairs to the second floor and approach the door on the left. Here you will find chaotic remains. Now go to the door on the right. Take a piece of the white rook figure and put it on the main piece (you just need to approach it with the missing piece in your hands). In the room you will see a large chessboard. You need to do the following:

  • Place the top of the rook on the far left piece to reach the top of the king;
  • Having gone down, remove the upper part of the rook and place it on the piece at the table to the right;
  • Place the upper part of the king on the figure in the center;
  • Examine the right side of the room and find the top of the elephant;
  • It must be placed on the far left piece (where you first placed the top of the rook);
  • Grab the lantern above the table on the right to reveal a secret room.

After receiving the key, open the door on the lower floor, move the rack with dishes and enter the room on the left. Here you will find more chaotic remains . Return to the corridor, move the rack to the wall on the right and climb up. This will take you to the kitchen.


Level 2: How to get past the students

You will have to fight off three students. Take a ladle and hit the first student. Following him, two more will attack the hero. When the students run up, they stop for a while to attack. Hit right after the student stops.

From the last apprentice, you can pick up the head and put it on your hero. Follow the dining room and corridor using your disguise, and when you get to the back room, go upstairs and grab the hook on the right side of the room. This will activate the mechanism and open the door. To open the door, throw any object at the white button.

In the next room, you will again face the teacher. To continue the path, climb onto the desktop and hide behind the banks. Wait for the teacher to turn away, and move to the right side of the room. If you use running, the boss will notice you and catch you. Jump over to the table on the right, take a moment and jump into the small window that leads to the next room.

Find the entrance to the ventilation shaft above the cabinet on the right and walk along it. So you will find yourself in another corridor with several students. Take the hammer and get closer to the first student. When you step on a protruding piece of wood, a trap will trigger. Step back immediately. The first student will start running towards you and fall into this trap. Then just take out the two remaining students.

Don't leave the hammer here, as there is a short walk along the corridors. From time to time, the hero will be attacked by students - fight them off and follow to the toilet. Just before entering the toilet, pay attention to a piece of wood in the floor, which activates another trap. Disarm her, deal with the last dolls and free your companion.

Open the window and move to another part of the building. There is a piano in the center of the room, with a lever behind it. Lift the tool up until it breaks and falls to the floor. Climb onto the piano and use the jump to make the instrument fall to the lower floor.

The door on the right is locked. Go to the small window on the left and ask a friend to help you get to it. Walk around the student on the left. At this point, your companion will distract him, and you can pick up the pipe and get rid of the student. Take the key, open the locked door and climb the stairs to the second floor. Climb onto the cabinet and drop the drawer of books down to open the hatch to the ventilation shaft. This will take you to the room where the teacher is.

You need to proceed as follows :

  • You can only run, jump, carry objects and make noise when the teacher is playing the piano;
  • Go downstairs and use the lever;
  • Move the chair to the cabinet on the left to climb up and go to the ventilation shaft.
Once inside the mine, you will have a short run from the teacher chasing you. Get out of the school to complete the second level.
