After the first days of the Power League in Brawl Stars , its development leader, Frank Keienburg, decided to share a series of impressions on how things are right now and possible improvements. Being the ELO and matching problems one of the points to be dealt with.
In addition to commenting on a future player reporting system or the exchange of brawlers in the picks and bans phase, Frank wanted to make it clear that the Power League pairing is far from perfect, and that it will take a few weeks for everything settle down and each player get to where they truly belong.
This is due to the fact that the system doesn't compromise on the matchmaking rule of +/-2 Ranks, ever. The distribution of ELO-like systems is always the same, here's an example of LoL to underline this.

So, while waiting for the best players to leave the Gold category in which we fell a huge number of users, we must be patient the poor mortals who also suffer when we see our faces against other 'Gold' that are clearly of a Upper level.Â
