Rust beta running on PS4 and Xbox One - leaks show gameplay

What's in the beta? Since the beta is under NDA, there are currently few reports on the contents of the beta. However, some players have already leaked gameplay and possible changes to the PC version.

The Twitter channel Rust Polls & News, for example, has been sharing screenshots and recordings from the beta that have been leaked to it (via Twitter ) since the beta release . He also analyzed this content and came up with the following content and changes:

  • the beta apparently includes the entire map of Rust with all its content
  • the graphics are a little less detailed compared to the PC to ensure better FPS values
  • Fire, for example, looks less detailed but sounds the same, so veterans can still recognize it
  • the UI has been changed a bit, the equipment slots are now about above the menu for better controller control. The crafting menu is also adapted for this
  • the screen turns red when you die

The channel has already leaked two short gameplay clips, which we are including here for you:

When will Rust appear on PS4 and Xbox One? So far there is no official release date for the console version. However , Rust has now received an ESRB rating for PS4 and Xbox One and is thus an important step closer to release.

How long the beta will last and whether there will be an open beta before the release, we cannot say exactly yet. The only thing that is certain so far is that Rust will appear on PS4 and Xbox One in 2021 . After the game experienced a big boom in late 2020 and early 2021, many users are now looking forward to playing Rust on their platform.
