Secrets of Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two - Cards, Codes, Extra Lives, Ammo, and Escalating Skirmishes

 

Doom Slayer's story finally ends in a new DLC for Doom Eternal - "The Ancient Gods - Part Two ". As always, there are many secret items in the add-on that will help you in battles and which are difficult to find. In this guide, we will list all the secrets and show you where to find them.

Three new single player levels filled with an incredible number of enemies, challenging battles and a ridiculous final boss, which will take a very long time to fight. Just like in Doom Eternal, every level has hidden places where a lot of interesting things are hidden. Secret items are divided into useful and collectible items. In addition, there are additional challenges - Escalation Encounters. These arenas unlock upgrades for your new weapon, the Sentinel Hammer, which replaces the sword and is much more useful. Its pumping can help a lot in difficult battles, so do not neglect the challenges.

The World Spear

Extra Life: In the large fountain where Armored Barons and Cyber ​​Mancubi appear, clear the room and you will find this extra life behind the gate near the exit from the arena. Press the skull switch in the far left corner of this room (after the fountain) to unlock the gate.

BFG Ammo: In the arena with the Whiplash monster, there is BFG ammo in the back right corner. Taking them, you lock yourself up with two Mancubi.

Extra Life: In the arena with the Stone Imp, get to the upper bridge. Then look at the opposite wall - there is a pipe that you need to jump into in order to get life.

Map: Once you reach a large, open, snow-covered war zone, you will have to solve a jumping puzzle and cross the ravine with a cybermancubus guarding the other side. The map terminal is next to the monster's spawn point.

Extra Life x2: Along your path ahead of the card, this extra life x2 is located above the float.

Codex: Jump into the cave after the previous life bonus. The codex page is right next to the ledge, you can't miss it.

BFG Ammo: reach the platform above the code page. Once you have killed three zombies, look to the left - there will be BFG ammo.

Escalation Fight: Walk past an icy cave filled with endless explosives, jump through streams of flame and you'll be taken to the first trial. If you complete the first wave, you will receive an upgrade for the hammer, and if you also complete the second, you will receive a cosmetic item.

• Reward for the 1st wave - after hitting with a hammer, enemies leave more ammunition;
• Wave 2 reward - World Spear Slayer Cosmetic costume.

Codex: The last page of the codex is at the very end of the level. Once you enter the World Peak, you will find this page in the center of floating yellow ghostly figures, next to a crystal object. Take it before exiting through the portal.

Reclaimed Earth

This is the second level of the add-on. You have to make your way to the gigantic ancient gates to the kingdom of the Dark Lord. The level itself is very beautiful - it is far from the lava-filled apocalypse that was before. The monsters retreated and the land began to revive.

As with all DLC levels, there aren't many items to find here, but they are all very useful. In particular, the more lives you get now, the more you will have when you face the Dark Lord.

Codex: at the very beginning of the level. Turn left and jump off the balcony to find this code at street level.

Extra Life: Further down the street, after meeting the Cursed Prowler for the first time, at the end of the road, you will find an Extra Life.

Map: When you get to the place where the intern tells you to reactivate the energy in the city, you will find a map to your right. This will be right after you dealt with the stone imps in the narrow alley.

BFG ammo: can be found in the arena during an escalation encounter.

Escalation Skirmish: Two waves of challenge can be found after restoring energy in a city and using two capture points to traverse a large construction arena.

• Reward for the 1st wave - after improving the hammer, enemies lose more health / armor under the influence of fire or ice.
• Wave 2 reward - Survivor Suit Cosmetic.

Codex: Jump down through the hole after completing the escalation encounter. There is a codex in the room down the hallway to the left.

Codex: after leaving the flooded station, you will find yourself on a destroyed road where monsters are fighting. The Codex is on the back left.

BFG Ammo: Easy to find in the same area, next to the codex.

BFG Ammo: On the path where the Revenants appear, you'll find another jumping puzzle ahead - look to the right to find a cracked wall leading to this ammo.

Extra Life: Before entering the giant wall, you will need to jump into a red-lit building filled with invisible whips. Clear the room, then break the cracked wall in the left corridor.

Extra Life: In the UAC main building, you will pass an extra life locked in a security booth. Go to the next room and fight Arch-Vile and Doom Hunters. Then return to the locked booth. The door will now be unlocked.

Codex: The final item to find after taking the elevator to the giant domed room. After exiting the elevator, look to the right.

Immora

The last and possibly the most epic level in the game. A real demonic chaos will be created around you, but do not be distracted from the search for secret objects.

Codex: Towards the start of the level, you'll find this page on a winding road. Almost impossible to miss.

Extra Life: In the area where the tentacles appear, look left at the upper passage guarded by other tentacles. There is a cracked wall leading to a bonus life.

Escalating Melee: Found behind tentacle traps.

• Reward for the 1st wave - after improving the hammer, the stun duration is increased.
• Wave 2 reward - Hellforged Suit Cosmetic.

Map: Found in the passage right after the escalated encounter.

Extra Life x2: After leaving the Challenge Arena, you will be able to see part of the massive battle in the distance. Jump onto the rocky platform and look to the left - there is an additional ledge that you can jump onto. Here you will find an extra life x2.

Extra Life: Hidden in a cave. It can be accessed by jumping off a ledge with two sets of Energy Ammo. It takes a double jump and a double dash to do this.

Codex: Once outside the walls of Immora, you'll find this codex on your left.

Codex: Complete a battle with purple buff zombies and Marauders. After jumping to the next ledge, look for this code on the right.

BFG Ammo: Behind the door in front of the entrance to the inner portal room.

Codex: By pressing the green button to open the doors to the inner city, you will be taken to a small room with a portal. The code page is there.

BFG Ammo: Found in the large arena, where you first see the Dark Lord leaving in a cutscene.

Of course, the game can be completed without collecting all the secrets, however, the battles in the expansion are quite difficult, and the items and improvements that we described above are really very useful.
