 The best weapons in Chivalry 2 and how the different classes of the combat arsenal differ

The Chivalry 2 is not yet so rich arsenal, both in the same Mordhau , but interesting pieces of weapons are still there. But, before giving specific examples, let's first figure out the classification of different types of weapons and why each of their types is needed.

Weapon classes in Chivalry 2 (which weapon to use)

• The one-handed one shows itself well in one-on-one battles due to its speed. But it does relatively little damage per hit. It is also a good choice for spare weapons.

• Swords are faster than axes, and they, in turn, are faster than polearms (various hammers and maces). But the faster the weapon, the less damage it does in one hit.
• Bows do a lot of damage only to the head, and crossbows penetrate any armor well, but take a long time to reload.
• Throwing weapons are best thrown into the crowd until you learn to hit exactly in the head.

Below are the most effective weapons according to the players' opinion.

Messer (two-handed)

Messer is the best two-handed sword in the game (although rather a combat knife). It has both long range attack, quick strikes and high damage even against heavy armor.

Hammer (two-handed)

The hammer is a slow but incredibly powerful two-handed weapon. They can quickly pierce the enemy's shield, knock the weapon out of their hands, or even kill with one blow if the enemy is already wounded (by you or allies) or is wearing light armor.

Halberd (two-handed)

The Halberd is the best weapon for combat in the ranks. In addition, it is universal: it deals a lot of damage with a slashing blow from above, can stab and help to fight back if you are surrounded.

Crossbow (ranged)

The crossbow is good at penetrating heavy armor and helps to thin out the ranks of the enemy storming the walls, and also kills anyone with one hit in the head. Short sword (one-handed)
