In Game RAID: Shadow Legends players will experience fierce battles with monsters and bosses, in which several hundred heroes take part. Each of them has its own characteristics and skills, and special talents bring additional variety to the builds. In this guide, we will tell you about their effects and tell you when and which ones are worth studying.
General information about talents
The talents in the game are divided into three main categories: attack, defense, support. Each hero can choose two branches for pumping, leaving less interesting skills intact. To gain access to the talents, you need special scrolls that can be obtained in the Labyrinth of the Minotaur. In this location you can find scrolls of varying degrees of rarity (white, green and red) and the deeper you go in the Labyrinth, the more valuable the loot you will get.
To unlock the very best talents, you will need to unlock all previous skills. There are a total of 66 talents in RAID: Shadow Legends, with 15 of them to choose from for each hero.
How to get scrolls
As mentioned above, scrolls for pumping talents are mined in the Lair of the Minotaur. This dungeon is open every day, but you can only go there once a day to complete two stories.
During the passage of the Labyrinth, you will meet the Minotaur, which has two active skills and one passive one:
Brutal Fury - the boss receives a bonus Enrage (the enemy deals 400% of base damage) for three turns at the beginning of the battle. When the effect wears off, the Minotaur gets Troubled (deals 200% base damage). Both effects cannot be removed from the boss by any skills.
Foulfire is an area attack that imposes the Corruption effect on the entire team (it cannot be removed or blocked) for five subsequent turns.
Tremor is an area attack that deals double damage to all player characters on which the Corruption effect is imposed.
In a team with the Minotaur, there are two ordinary opponents who do not have special skills and attack single targets in your team. To deal with this boss, you need to form a team, which will include not only damaging champions, but also defense heroes that can withstand the onslaught of the monster. Among other things, the owner of the Labyrinth is not protected from negative effects, so it is recommended to have at least one warrior in the squad capable of applying debuffs (attack with a negative effect on the target).
Now we turn to the description of talents by individual categories.
Attack talents
First row of attack talents
Going to the corresponding menu, you will see two talents. You will need to choose one of them and spend five scrolls to study.
Diamond Eye - Increases the chance to inflict critical damage on the enemy by 5%.
Blade Adept - Increases the attack of the selected champion by 75 points.
Second row of attack talents
To unlock the second tier talent, you will need to make a choice of five options, as well as spend 30 regular (white) scrolls.
A gloomy outcome - when a hero's health falls below 50%, his damage is increased by 5%.
Hard hit - the chance to inflict critical damage is increased by 10%.
Shieldbreaker - the amount of damage your hero deals to opponents armed with a shield is increased by 25%.
Blood with milk - if the hero has full health, he will deal 5% more damage.
Third row of attack talents
There are four talents to choose from, to study one of them you will need to pay 80 green scrolls.
Catch by surprise - on the first hit to an enemy, your hero will receive an 8% bonus to damage.
Sip of life - if the amount of the hero's health drops below 50%, when dealing damage, he will restore 5% of the lost health.
Deadly whirlwind - each enemy killed in battle adds 6 units of speed to the hero (maximum bonus 18 units).

Nose in the wind - your hero will deal 12% more damage to enemies that have the effects of "Sleep", "Fear", "True Fear", "Freeze" or "Stun".
Revenge of the Fallen - for each killed ally, your hero will receive a bonus of 5% to the damage dealt (maximum bonus 10%).
Circulation of rage - with a probability of 30%, your character can reduce the cooldown time of a random ability once per turn (the trigger condition is that damage from your skill will take more than 30% of the target's health away from the target).
Breaking Bad - if the target's maximum health is greater than that of your hero, the player's character will deal 6% more damage to the selected enemy.
Fifth tier of attack talents
To study the talent of the fifth row, prepare 300 red scrolls at once.
Fierce rebuff - for each penalty received by your character, he will inflict 4% bonus damage (maximum bonus 12%).
Fatal Courage - for each killed enemy in the Arena, the hero will receive 6% bonus damage, in other modes he will receive 3% to damage (maximum bonus 12%).

Methodical attack - for each use of the main skill, the hero will receive a 2% bonus to the damage dealt (maximum bonus 10%).
