BATTLEFIELD 2042 MATCHMAKING BUG, HOW TO FIX IT?

In Battlefield 2042, it will occasionally happen that some people encounter matchmaking bugs. This article shows you how to solve this problem.

Battlefield 2042 has been available in early beta since Wednesday, October 6 and since the opening of the test servers, some players have encountered some bugs.

Among these is one related to matchmaking and in general this is due to an issue with the servers as Freeman , EA's community manager, explained on his Twitter account.

How do I fix the matchmaking bug on Battlefield 2042?

Battlefield 2042 officially launches on November 19, but in order to best prepare for the title's release, EA and DICE are offering two beta phases, one in early access available from October 6 to 8 and another in open beta from October 8 to 10. Due to this restricted access, the test servers are not yet all accessible as explained by Freeman on his Twitter account ( source ) and this is why some players encounter the error message "unknown error", related to matchmaking .

Of course, if you encounter this bug, don't panic and just check that the servers are all online and that maintenance might not have taken them offline for a while. We remind you that to find out, you can consult our article dedicated to the state of the servers below or go to the Battlefield 2042 Twitter page ( source ) or the EA Help Twitter page ( source ).
